I love this gospel song. I am 66 & remember singing it as a little girl. unlike my daddy, a WW II veteran, never liked a godly man. I get scared even though I was saved as a little girl, all 4 of us kids are baby-boomers. many people are right we were rebellious generation. 3 of my siblings were addicted to drugs or alcohol. 1 married 4 addicts. we were not all bad. Steve Jobs, gates many baby-boomers were good. civil rights movement. I am from Oklahoma & we disagreed with many Americans. when your a Christian there's no room for racism. the baby-boomers got our morals from the greatest generation. enough about that. my 1st husband was abusive physically. I knew devorice was a sin. did it anyway. he was murdered by his own family. I wish I had a do over. he was only abusive drunk. married a second time. even though I realized I never prayed for my first husband I loved him. I was going to make 2 marriage work no matter what. my oldest daughter saw the violence & to this day she gets scared. she is a teacher & also married an abusive man. my husband quit drinking 5 yrs before my 2nd daughter was born. also a teacher married to a Godly wonderful man I am still alive. quit doing hard drugs in 1979 but got on xanex & opiates. Jesus takes over when a woman is pregnant. never craved or wanted a pill through both pregnancies. I have damaged my body. I am scared I might go to hell. I tithe very little. I told my girls it's not jail's, institutres it's just death. they don't use. my friend days your covered by grace. I grew up in assbly of God. we don't have one in this town my brother's overdosed, husband, 3 cousins & just last year my beautiful nephew died on herion & Fenenol in Tulsa OK. I begged him & begged him but I knew he wasn't listening. please pray for me. I know it's Satan telling me I am going to hell but I had a mini stroke last month. it wasn't mini to me. I couldn't get to the phone. I was going out. my right arm curled & I cried in desperation for the Lord it to take me & if he did I knew he died on the cross for my sins. my youngest daughter had just had her 1st son. at first I didn't want to die on her floor. then it was forgive me. thank you for letting me post & God Bless You and your loved ones

My Grandfather who raised me passed away last September and shattered me. He was a man of honor and morals. He would never tell a lie even if it hurt you. He was a Godly man from birth to death. He and I used to sing together in church when I was young. This one of the songs we sang together. Lord I miss him. Go to his grave weekly. Even though he was 91 he had a spirit that would not quit. I pray everyday that he is waiting om me when I am called home on down the road. Pops miss you!!!!
