Brings back early pre Covid memories used to celebrate Christmas here with the whole family and extended family + family friends up until 2019 when people started moving and now the celebration is smaller at someone’s house but this place brings back memories

Visited NAVRADSTA Jim Creek back in the 1970s when I was a newly-minted Coast Guard radioman, stationed aboard the then-brand-new USCGC POLAR SEA (WAGB 11) in Seattle. Their antenna field and the power at which they transmit were VERY impressive.

True, My first winter snow ride of a 1978 Yamaha TW-200 followed a 18 inch wide rut cross-country, Past a former log camp ruin where a skid road allowed farm livestock to drag cross-cut timber down. That was in World War One and Two. My ride bumped over a railway also of wood-fired steam trains. I returned with my 2008 Suzuki DR-650 using iced mud truck roads of that same sub-alpine elevation.

At the end, the narrator says that we learn from our past mistakes in operating public transit. This was probably made before the train accident a few years ago when the Cascade Amtrack went off the track between Olympia and Tacoma. Just like this accident, the operator was on his maiden voyage on this piece of track (he had been part of a group of engineers who had been taken over the track and route, once and at night for training). He, too, was unaware that there was a sharp corner coming up until too late. Two passengers died in this recent accident. Obviously, no one had learned the lessons from the trolley accident.

Some of the images and information in this documentary are actually from the November 2006 flood which affected the eastern county more. Still 3 huge floods in a 3 year period 2006, 2007, and 2009.

Just think, this video is 7 years old and they claim there was 90 wolves then. 7 yrs today I can guarantee you there is likely double that if not more. As someone that spends considerable amount of time in the NE corner there are so many wolves now there are far less prey for them to feed on. They’re now showing up in populated areas of valleys. Just like the wildlife agent said, there’s the major well known packs but it’s the 2-3’s that spurn off onto their own that they won’t talk about. I have several camera pics and personal visuals of wolves in areas just 2-3 years ago had no sign of being. What’s happening is with the predator populations exploding with bears, coyotes, cats, and wolves they’re making a tremendous impact on prey fawn populations. The state had a local hunter take out the Profanity peak pack due to conflicts and within a few short months a new pack moved in and expanded. Most of these pro wolf conservation groups live in or near metropolitan areas. They push for the wolf populations in other peoples areas. What they don’t know is wolves once roamed where western Washington metro area is now. Heaven forbid they allow wolves in or around those areas. I’m not saying they need to be wiped out. I’m saying they need to be properly managed. Like the representative support of wolves all of the sudden say no not in my backyard but it has to be in someone else’s? What locals do in wolf areas is they gut shoot them. That makes the wolves run off and die elsewhere leaving no evidence behind of the shooter. The state will not help locals because the state is pushed by the animal rights organizations so the locals take on their own way of dealing with them. Proper management is what’s needed. There are more than enough wolves in this state to open up a permit hunt but the state will never allow it even if populations were at a 1000. Why? Because these organizations, along with other, would riot across the west side.

No lady. That wasn't the issue. The issue was the government allowing doctors to predate in people with prescriptions for decades. Were they over prescribed? For sure. But the issue cane when the government stepped in almost overnight and took every single one of those prescriptions away. The US government is responsible for the drug problem in this country, the homeless problem in this country, the economy, the immigrants. All of it. It wasn't the prescription per say, it was the fucking government. Again.

It's what happens when you trust the system. Trust our doctors. Trust our government. They are all as bad as the dealers on the street, passing on information as they were told, that's it. no care of the individual as a human being. We are just numbers to this lady and the rest of the 1%. We as American people need to stand up and start living again.

Western ranching on public lands is welfare. Ironically these are the same people who complain about welfare recipients in the inner city. We pay to subsidize their life. Ranching in the west isn’t profitable, as the environment is too arid and the grass too poor, without our taxpayer dollars we give them through subsidies they wouldn’t exist. Then they want to turn around and graze on public land, which is all our land, the shoot our wildlife because they might kill livestock that we help buy with our taxpayer subsidies. Go get a real job that’s profitable or move to the Midwest where ranching is possible without government handouts. Lastly the wolves were there first and we killed them off once. So tired of the crying.

I think it should be investigated if the state now and then is legislated with the Bible written as a story. The word immunity (Latin immunitas, freedom from obligations to the state) comes from a religious revelation from the middle ages, most likely from a pope to become lawless, and which has since been rewritten into sovereign, absolute, and qualified immunity (legally, cannot be prosecuted for the criminal act) to the governor, government, senator (origin, the Roman Empire), congress, cabinet, and Supreme Court for law decisions and actions. The political exploitation of the vital ecosystem has led to forest death, how it will affect people's economy, etc. Furthermore, I think the Democratic Party can be a consciously misleading party name with all parties belonging to the Republican Party, as current political democracy and socialism can only be about going more toward the middle, eg. the Democratic Party for law decisions and actions, even with the misleading word professional politician. I also think the people should consider voting for a real democratic party with an independent state formation to investigate if the governor, governments, senator (origin, the Roman Empire), congress, cabinet, and Supreme Court overall may be guilty of a violation of democratic rights with misleading elections, economic crimes, violation of human rights with class society for adults and children, and serious environmental crime (force majeure).
