I makes sense that he didn't go for this version. Jack not only being fed up with Halloween, but he seems like someone who doesn't like having all of the attention so he would want the residents to shine. So in the opening he has more of a silent performance

No Danny Elfman was not the voice actor for Jack skellington. The voice actor was Chris Serandon

@@CommanderFuckwit I think by the point this demo was written and recorded, the clown character wasn't inherently envisioned as a clown yet, so, Danny most likely just decided to record a standard deep voice in the meantime. At least, that's my theory anyway

The demo versions remind me of when I'd stand in the dark in my room with a speaker in front of my mouth trying to do all the voices to "kidnap the sandy claus" but I was just a lil kid, it was nutty fun.
