Trisha sings a-cappella better than any artist I’ve ever heard. She is phenomenal. This is such a beautiful song and performance.
@ReallyKelliReilly3 жыл бұрын
One of Miss Trisha’s best songs sang is “A Lover is Forever”. She owns it. I’d love to see her make an Etta James tribute song/album.

Too bad more Confederates were not killed. Too bad Hood, Jeff Davis, Robert E. Lee, and the whole Confederate criminal cabal were not exterminated. The Confederates didn't suffer enough. The Union didn't kill enough of them.

Dick Seitz was one of my father's (John T Dickmeyer) best friends. My father served under him in WWII, worked with him in Iran and they remained friends until my father's death in 2001. I called General Seitz to inform him of my father's death. He went on to tell me of my father's contribution to stability in the Middle East in the 1960's. These were stories I had never heard. As a child my family would go over to their house. I loved visiting because their children were so much fun and I was enthralled when our dads would reminisce. I had heard the story of this beautiful war time wedding from my father. How special to heard it now from General Seitz himself!

Davis should have listened to Robert E. Lee and not put Hood in charge if the strongest Army in the West Campaign. The day before the Confederate's had the Union Army trapped and Hood let them March right by at night. Forrest was so upset at Hood. Forrest wouldn't have let his men March two miles over a opened field. You have to give credit to the brave men that fought until they died. Communications beat the South. So many mistakes.

At Franklin, Hood wasn't a shadow of his former self, he was a corpse. His rise up the ladder of the Confederacy was well earned, and very respected by his men. But when he reached Franklin, he was a double amputee, a drug addicted fool, dreaming of winning his sweetheart with a glorious victory. If he was of sound mind, he would have fought Schofield a few days later, on better ground.
@Steve170106 жыл бұрын
Hood may have been a fool to make this attack but there is fairly recent evidence that he was not addicted on drugs. The is even a video on U-Tube dealing with this issue.
