Totally dumb music, played with ridiculously light tone quality. It's a sign of bad taste.

Rocking the harp back and forth is not expressive, it is dangerous, a lack of control. It can easily fall over backwards or even forwards, and I've seen this happen. The harpist can move back and forth, but the instrument should be still. Pearl Chertok, the composer, was a mediocre harpist in New York City, who was expelled from the Curtis Institute of Music.

@@nonenoneonenonenoneobviously somebody isnt a harpist. the harp is going to move as you do, since it quite literally is on your shoulder. harps dont just “fall” from moving while you play, because again, it is leaning on you. please look inward before you comment about somebody else’s performance. his work his beautiful.

Mr. von Lerber brings out the melody of this piece more clearly than any of the other harpists i've heard on UTUBE. Amazing playing, beautiful music, and stunning looking man performing! Thank you for posting!!! 🎶🤩🎵🎶

Amazing and spectacular! When I saw the as a harp solo, I listened because I thought it was impossible to get the effect of the full orchestral score. This was not as big and bold as that but it works very well on a concert grand harp! Well done!

The toccata is just too fast. The articulation is still good but the pace doesn't sound natural.
