21:00 I'm pretty sure you could have got the lips fully selected using the AI mask brush and clicking and dragging a box over the lips. It seems to apply more localised understanding within just the box.

Tour Box is similar and comes programmed for Capture One, Lightroom and photoshop. Programmable as well. Very useful for most adjustments and changing brush sizes. Not expensive either.

Can we please have the ability for linear and radial gradient masks to be applied only on the layer we choose? For example just on the background or the subject or even in any other mask we have drawn? Similar to what Lightroom does?

I got excited when you said that you would demo the process for selecting individual photos from a card. I didn't see what I was hoping for. What are the keyboard shortcuts similar to those in iOS or Windows for picking items out of a list. Example would be selecting a portion of a list by picking one item and then while holding shift key down, selecting the last item. Then one might deselect one of these items by selecting it.

Is there a way to change the crop lines inside the frame? The ones that helps composite the photo, i would love to change them from law of thirds to golden section lines (i used to do this in LR but now im Capture One user).

The number of users is very large but Captrure One is not doing a good job of reaching users in the best way. I write these lines hoping to send to Captrure One to expand its approach so that everyone can use it. Here I only want to talk about the Captrure One Mobi app. The company should develop this area well because we all want to use it regardless of what phone we use. I hope the company will fix it so that Samsung, Xiaomi, vv... can all download and use it.
@anhtrantuan4676
@anhtrantuan4676 19 күн бұрын
Why does Captrure One only allow downloads on the app store and not on ch play? I think Captrure One is following a very outdated trend by not updating user information. Users now use many brands of iPhone, Samsung, Xiaomi, vv.., but Captrure One's approach to users is only on the iPhone app store.

Find Exposure Simulation in the Camera settings tool in Capture One and try to disable it. See if that makes a difference for your current setup.

Question: when using live view in a dark scene where there’s very little ambient light- how do you see your scene? Is there a setting I am missing to change the live view exposure? Or am I screwed? 🤷‍♂️

Great promo for the Raw Society, but honestly I don’t think good photography is about pushing software (which obviously should be pushed to the best) but about storytelling (as said in the video) is the key. Basically, the processing and software isn’t going to make the story.

Great presentation, thank you. I never knew what the "threshold" slider was for, and you explained it well with the blue sky example and kept it set to "1". So, why is it set to "0" by default elsewhere (export sharpener, for example)?

This is a very useful item, but I feel it's missing the ability to view images side by side in a meaningful way. The thumbnails are small, is there any way to change the size? It would make it useful for when clients are looking at starred images and trying to make selections. Or is there an option to select 2-4 images (for example) and compare them side by side? I've used CamRanger and they have had that ability for quite some time. Those are the major things I think the app is missing. Otherwise, I like it! I was hoping to use it on a shoot where participants have to make their headshot selections on-site, but the inability to either change thumbnail size to make them much larger, or select more than one image to compare side by side means I'll still bring my laptop for now. That is crucial for people. Having said all of this, I applaud you on creating Capture One Live. It's so, so much better than Pilot! I hope it will evolve and improve

I use one port on my camera for the USB/Tether cable, and the other (micro HDMI jack) to use a strobe trigger mounted to the hot shoe of my camera. This leaves no open portal for an intervalometer or remote camera trigger. its there some way to use Capture One (either iPad or Desktop) to capture a series of images with a set timing interval between them (as in Time-Lapse pohotography)?

¡Tremendo! Absolutely wonderful to see Jorge and Christelle here, to have their work and The RAW Society highlighted, and that they were approached by Capture One. I would have loved to see their gallery exhibition. I guess I'll have to make due with their new book, East to West. Mis felicitaciones y un fuerte abrazo a ambos.

Brightness should be renamed to midtones and moved to high dynamic range, this helps better the beginners the difference between it and exposure and for others to not misuse it.
