Can I add things made out of air dry clay to the resin, and is there a certain resin i should use? For a sphere kids night light.

Why would you make a mold when you could just buy one and assemble it on the table then stand it up? This is what I’ve chosen to do for my lamp but every time I see experienced resin art creators they often build it vertically with their own mold. Is it better this way?

Beautiful piece. I’d like to know what you coated the wood with prior to pouring the resin? I’ve made a few similar pieces myself. Hard finding nice pieces of wood where I live though. I didn’t coat the wood before casting it. Also I use an opaque piece of plastic over the LED to diffuse it. Even used some transparent colored plexiglass for different effects. Enjoyed the video 👍🏼👍🏼

What do you do to prepare the wood for the lamp? drying times? Do you remove bark and other things like applying varnish prior to the resin application?

When pouring after you placed in your diver, how do you get the exact same color of blue mixing the resin again?
