@AlexUNDRSCORE have You tried the gamesir controllers ? I saw that they were half effect. And idk if they are better than the original controllers. I don't want to keep buying og xbox controllers, it's a waste of money

That’s true. The Dual Sense Edge got me charging it after two or three sessions. The Elite can last me five maybe six.

I should’ve mentioned this in the video as well but I really like the asymmetrical sticks of the Xbox control controller. I don’t know why people hate it so much. To me it makes more sense to have a stick across from your face buttons more than have two sticks below your face buttons.

@AlexUNDRSCORE yeah, that used to be my biggest complaint about ps controllers. I'd always be bumping my thumbs together.

I feel the exact opposite lol. Offset sticks bother me so much. Can't get used to it. Glad both exist.

@184Dadada yeah that's funny dude. Ever since the first "duke" controller for Xbox i was like yeah, this is way better. And since you move with the left stick mostly, moving your right thumb over the touch the d-pad is way better on the Xbox controller compared to reaching around your thumb or taking your thumb off to hit it or trying to combo hit the d-pad and still control the left stick. I also really hate the lack of battery life on the ps5 controller in particular. Seems like I can leave the elite off the charger for a week where I have to charge the ps5 controller every other day or more.

The difference is that you’re able to change the trigger throw in three increments. You can swap out the thumb sticks if they ever go bad you can also change the tops of the thumb sticks. You can add paddles to the back and assign them any button you need (for example R and L so when I’m playing a shooter I can keep my fingers on the triggers. And it comes in a fancy case with a braided usb cable and a lock. The original PS5 controller can’t to any of this.

I like your answer! BUT… That Dual Sense is a great controller too. It’s basically just as big as a Xbox controller but has enough PlayStation dna to make it unique. I was torn on which one to choose.

Yeah man. The nostalgia just came rushing back to me. They’d make a butt load of money off us if they’d make some more 30th Anniversary stuff.

There was no way I can do that without a review code like the big boys or drop everything that I gotta do (work/family) and grind a game, which would kill the fun of the game. But you’re right it’s more of a first impressions. If I do a review it would be more of a long term review like angry Joe or the completionist.

Yeah the price hike is the most ridiculous thing they did. I’m planning on picking up a Series X myself but keeping my OG PS5(disc version). Both consoles have things I love and hate.

@@AlexUNDRSCORE Yeah, I think I'll do the same and just keep my ps5 og, and get the XSX too. To me, this is a strange and lacking generation for gaming, it's like they're learning how to build platforms and games for power, they obviously don't quite understand how to distribute the power correctly. It seems like besides the consoles, it seems like they're just learning how to make games! Sony is my favorite, well, used to be my favorite, I don't even have a favorite console or games anymore, it's just all kinda mixed up, ya know what I'm sayin? I hope the next generation is different. They need to get back to the days of the ps2, and re-create a system with modern power, but optional for Internet, or online, offline play can be normal if chosen, and stop the services and micro transactions. I still love my ps5 and the Xbox series x, it's mainly been confusing with the games themselves. But it's all good.

I started off with Nintendo, then Sony, then Xbox, then just recently went back to Sony because Microsoft was slipping when they said (Phil Spencer specifically) “it doesn’t matter if we make a hit game people aren’t gonna go out and sell their PS5”. That comment was so out of line because it’s not what gamers would do, they would just buy your console lol showed me they lost their touch.

I'm not sure what Xbox has for games, as I only have my PS5 and PS4 pro right now, and I'm gettin to the point I could use something else besides PlayStation. I had the Xbox og, the Xbox 360 and PS3, then I bought the PS4 and Xbox One, and I'm just hoping these rumors about Xbox shutting down aren't real before I get the Xbox series x and I'll keep my PS5 og disc.

You definitely don’t have to worry about Microsoft shutting down XBOX they are too heavily invested after that big acquisition and Game Pass makes them a lot of money. They have Gears 5 that’s the true next gen Gears but of course you can play all Xbox games from every gen on the Series X and XBOX ONE. That’s one of the things I love about Xbox. Their backwards compatibility is AMAZING and I love Game Pass.

The front LED’s are the only thing that looks good on the PS5 Slim console to me. But to each their own 🤷🏾‍♂️
