Trespassers beware. I put 15 bear traps on my property where people were cutting through my fence. I also put up signs warning of their presence. Walk in, limp out.

Those are some good ideas. I guess I'm just impatient for stuff like this and would just throw an inverter on the vehicle battery and run a submersible Ion Storm Pro sump pump (runs on just 4.7 amps) at about 60 gallons/min. It would have that whole thing emptied probably in 2-3 hours max.

Thanks for the video. So do you let it sit inside all winter and then bring it out in the springtime and plant it in the ground? Just want to make sure I get this right. I live in upstate New York zone five. Thanks for the video! It was very helpful. I really appreciate that you are helping me save money because my Hicksi Yew was about $60. I only bought one so I’m gonna try your technique to grow some more and plant a nice hedge.

We are in zone 7 and keep them covered with straw outside during winter. You really don’t want them getting to cold, 40’s is about where they need to be kept, so maybe inside a cold frame setup or garage by a window.

Those two barrel tumblers (and the singles as well) (from harbor F or lortone or anyone elses name) have two things wrong One the belts are low quality rubber and counter intuitively the belt is too THICK! it makes it difficult for the belt to bend around the small pulley Two the FATAL flaw - plastic "bearings" the smallest grain of grit gets in there and things no longer go around. The Fix - the motor is fine, the shafts and pulleys are fine. Build a new or modify the current frame with real, sealed ball bearings and use a good belt (say from an old cassette recorder) My machine can run 1-12 pound drum, 2-6 pound drums and 2-4 pound drums from that same motor and I have never changed the belts in 5 years

So....would you buy this dough barrel one or not
@lylelay3 жыл бұрын
@@bumblebee0369 It depends on your situation, if you are sure you want to tumble and you have the money finding a unit that is missing those problems is a good idea. If you are not so sure or your funds are low, you can usually get a few loads done with the inexpensive units. Just be aware that if you want to keep tumbling you'll need to invest more.

Thank you. I have woods next to my house and I labeled a PRIVATE PROPERTY CAMERAS WILL BE RECORDING sign. People (about in their middle teens) started to destroy my private property and threw trash and stuff in it and destroyed stuff. It is VERY agrovating. I told them to stop but they didn't stop. I've gotten tired of it and put traps in the woods to keep them out. That taught them a lesson
