This is literally the ONLY video I have found on KZbin of someone actually using a “overland” trailer like it is advertised to be made for. All the others are just manufactured sponsored videos. Love all the scratches and the way u actually use the trailer.

Hey AdventureJason_ yeah I did stay for the eclipse totality. Experienced it up near the Balck Rock Observatory crew outlook. (Stayed till Tuesday. (Yikes). Are you guys part of the Invisible Intersection crew.l ? I am solo hoping to go the Burn. Respect. @AdventureJason_, I cannot fathom why you don’t have over 100K+ subs and tens-of-thousands of views per video?! Your content is, by far, 100x better than other creators in your genre.

I went skiing once in my lifetime and I was on what I was told was a beginners trail and there was a lot of snowdrifts people were going through and I wanted to do it too, except the one I hit wasn't a darn drift it was a jump and I flew sideways into a tree and broke both of my knees. I never went skiing again. That was 40+ years ago.
@AdventureJason_Ай бұрын
Omg! That's horrible!
@tonytrumbleАй бұрын
@@AdventureJason_ yeah it certainly made me not to want to ever ski again. It didn't help that the ski patrol was laughing at me.

It's such a shame, I love that area. The area around road 19 on the Westfir side has lots of sketchy people too. Once had a dude stop me and my girlfriend asking if we've seen any sketchy people cause someone broke his window and stole his guns. But none of his windows were broken

@AdventureJason_, Jason, another GREAT adventure! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 I miss adventuring in Oregon. Question 1: what is the weight of your trailer? Is it as heavy as it looks? Question 2: did you have to modify/beef-up the truck suspension to tow it? It always amazes me when a person approaches me, no matter where I am, and proceeds to ask: “what are you doing?” Every time my response is: ‘since when are you my daddy (or Mom if it’s a woman.)’ It does make me wonder what he was doing? He seemed a bit shady by his actions
@AdventureJason_Ай бұрын
Thank you. My trailer weighs in at around 6k depending on our trip. My truck pulls it great. Only thing I've done to the suspension is add airbags to the rear. Works great.
@BACKROADSNOMADАй бұрын
@@AdventureJason_, oh WOW! The trailer ‘looks’ much heavier than 6k. I was guessing 8-9k, so it’s deceiving in its appearance.

Great scenery in the Oregon Cascades and nice to have the wilderness to yourself for the weekend with the exception of the guy coming out of the timber. Not like he was doing any amount of hiking in those rubber boots, and he appeared to give a quick look over of your rig. where did he walk off to? Jason, appreciate all the effort/time you take setting up the different camera angles and bringing it all together in video. Great job!

Great video! Those trees must’ve been exhausting. I’ve moved trees before using a winch to pull them to the side, if you guys don’t have a winch, you may think about using a tow strap? Tying it up & backing out..? Save on chainsaw battery & gas.
