Hi, you need to use the 'Propagate Rebar' tool. Check out this video at the 8:33 mark.

@RevitWiz Yes, I have already tried it, but I have to set the rebar again. They are not aligned, and the rebar does not adjust with the new length.

Will you be doing a rebar schedule ? Also maybe a mass summary table to with that? I've done many of these and the mass summary I had to figure out but figured it out...a fellow south african

Hi, unfortunately, the Propagate Rebar function was introduced in Revit 2023. I recommend upgrading your Revit version to access this feature. Alternatively, you can copy the rebar by selecting all the bars and copying them to another column. However, this method may not work as seamlessly as the Propagate Rebar function.

Good effort. I would suggest you work on beam X-Section when you want to place rebar in it. It will automate a lot of manual calculations like you just did in the video. I love the rebar colour code thing, which makes the whole model interesting 😇 Keep it up🙌

Hi @RajUp-l1c . I have created a concrete spiral stair in my latest video. "Revit - House Tutorial" - Look at time = 1:15:00. It is very similar to a steel staircase. Let me know if it helps?

see that your reinforcement is both ways T1 or B1. Normally we need to give it B1 B2 and T1 T2 Fir the short span to B1 and Long span to be B2 same on the Top reinforcement. Does revit have that option

There is a setting available, but only when you use the 'Area Reinforcement' option. You can find this under the reinforcement settings. When using the standard rebar function, you can add T1, T2, B1, and B2 as shown in the tutorial. Simply type the desired text in the 'Comments' tab (See time 32:13) in video.
