This WIPC-303W camera won't pick up when I scan the QR Code. I'm in nz. And I have a good wifi range and I have changed the wifi to the 2.4 and it still doesn't want to connect. Help is appreciated

I managed to set a code successfully but the device does not seem to want to arm the system despite being close range. I've gone through the code process again, seems to accept it but you don't even need a code to arm. It did work once the very first time (but I had to disarm with phone app). now it won't even arm. I've tried removing in the app and re-adding. also removing the battery and re-seating it (did detect tamper and restore on the phone app)... *edit: I got there in the end but not quite sure how. There seems to be a delay sometimes while the code/initialisation settles in. Repeated attempts got there in the end but I'm not sure which to do first out of the 3 activities: Initialise the device, bind to the app, set the code on the device. here's the init instructions: My keypad will arm but not disarm the system? This is because the keypad hasn’t been initialized. Please remove the keypad from the system in the device settings menu, then initialize the keypad as follows: 1. Press panic button A, then 0000 2. The LED will flash continuously on the Key Pad 3. Press panic button A, followed by 7 4. Press disarm twice Re-add the Key Pad to the system in the device settings menu in the normal learn mode way

I can't find this accessory item so I can use the yale mobile app on my smartphone, I have the HSA6000 premium alarm kit. Can someone please link me to where I can buy this router thing that's compatible with the HSA6000 model. Preferably a link to the item on Ebay to buy it cheaper if not a link to site will do. I've tried looking up *HSA6000 SMARTPHONE ACCESSORY* but I can't seem to find it. Thank you in advance

Thanks for sharing. I've installed the kit and Yale Home app following your instructions. But I cannot find the Doorsense magnet Calibration function. It does not come up automatically in the Yale Home app, and I could not find any function in the "Lock setting". I also tried to add a doorsense magnet in the "add a device" tab, but I cannot find the device either. Could you explain how this shall be added? Thanks!

Do not buy these locks. Locked out my house twice now because their app is rubbish and the card got reset when I upgraded to a access module.

terible touchscreen, so many people have issue with not working anymore. With 9V fresh battery, with new 1.5V batteries, simly batteries are not the case. That touchscreen is horrible, same as Yale support. Never ever buy anything with such a screen. I ll try to replace it and sell it. I contacted warranty service in time, until they respond warranty is over...I ll never buy anything from Assa Abloy....pitty I have safe doors and few other things...

I have l1 lock and smart living alarm with hub 3.0. i have purchased the yellow dongle as requested by yale to allow home app to work with lock. I have yale alarm app, lock shows as off line, when pressing for more options to requests to reconect lock. Im stumped. Please could you give me guidance that works. Ive already looked at all of the generic vidios to follow. Ps. Loving the lock and alarm for several years now!

Thanks to the advice @SullySF in the comments under this video, I've managed to resolve a situation that Yale should never have created in the first place.. I also have the white sync module to connect to the hub and my alarm and I followed Sully's advice. I put the new yellow module in the lock, programmed all the keys and then reinstalled the white sync module. The new keys that I created (and I had to reprogram the old keys) work fine and although the Yale Home app won't open the door without the yellow module, I can still open the door remotely with the Yale Alarm app as before. The lock is also still synced to the alarm and everything is as before but with some new keys added. Of course without the Conexis app, the ability to create temporary keys remotely etc is no longer available but I've never used that since those were chargeable events and it's just as easy to provide a key fob temporarily to those who you want to have temporary access. Keys can also be disabled if lost via the Yale Home app as that has now become the 'key controller' (but you'll need to insert the yellow module temporarily to do that). So effectively, the Yale Alarm app remains my app for daily use and the Yale Home app is for managing keys (with the yellow module inserted). I'm still not impressed that Yale can turn a 'smart' lock with remote management into a relatively dumb one unless their customer pays the £35 'ransom fee' for the bridge but this is a reasonable workaround for £4.99. I'd also be interested to know if anyone is using the bridge synchronised with their alarm since there is clearly at least one user who is mightily pi55ed off with it being slow to disable the alarm on entry, thus setting off the alarm when a valid key is used to enter. That's the reason I haven't migrated fully to the Yale Home / Wifi Bridge solution. At least I know that my current set up works.

I hope you do a USB-C to USB-C cable for all the products, USB-A is 2014. And I also hope the wait for these products are worth it, only 1080 is also 2014, i hope they are fast and can set a alarm on all the Philips hue lights for more than one bridge.

Am I missing something? Can each person only have physical tag registered? So if I have more than one physical tag, I have to name each one separately? I can’t assign multiple tags to myself for example one on my car keys one on my spare keys

I put my name in the first box and the tag location/type in the second. That allows me to disable one of my tags if it gets lost

I too have the same query. I have 2 tags and 2 smart cards. all were working fine until yale home app was installed. There is no reponse to your query from Yale support. Why do they post youtube video here if they cant respond to serious issues.

@@RameshMekkara I have worked out that in order to assign multiple cards to be used they must be added as 'CONTACTLESS KEY ONLY' (not an account).I clicked on the two people icon at the bottom of the menu in the app, then clicked on 'INVITE' but instead of choosing App Access where you invite a person to download the app you add cards using the 'CONTACTLESS KEY ONLY' option. This goes on to a screen that asks for First Name Last Name so basically I called one fob Jon Main, another i called 'Spare Fob ', and another I called 'Flat Card' The lock allowed me to add all three and each one works by physically placing it by the YALE logo on the lock as they did before

I had a little look at the Yale website and it says this: Can I still use my Z-Wave module with my Conexis L1, or do I need to migrate to the Yale Home app? You can still use Z-Wave and not use our module if you wish. However, if you ever wanted to add or remove tags, you could not do this via your app. This can be done manually however by using the below process.* *Please be aware that this involves a factory reset, which wipes all credentials and requires setup of the lock, module and credentials again. Factory reset the lock with the module removed (Page 29 of Conexis Manual). Reset the actuator inside the door so that the tail-bar is vertical (see pictures A and B on page 8). Once done, refit the handle and Hand the lock (Page 15). Scan all of your cards and tags into the lock- when doing this, once you have single pressed the R button- 1 by 1 scan in ALL your Cards/Tags carefully but quickly (you only need to press the R button once to do this). Once you have scanned in all the tags- press R to finish. Once this is complete, you can reinstall your Z-Wave Module. What if I already have a module installed to sync to my Sync alarm, I prefer to keep this function as it links to my smart home, or will I be forced to look for a new smart lock provider purely because you no longer want to support an app?

I bought the new module for fiver but I can only use Bluetooth to use the lock and they never say you need a wifi bridge which is an additional cost to use the lock over the internet. I have older module which works with Yale smart bridge(sync bridge) not the wifi plug-in bridge. I installed the new module, upgraded everything and I don't want to buy a new wifi bridge. So I have replaced the new module with the old one and everything works as previously over the internet.

Sully answered my question elsewhere and I've implemented the same solution which I've outlined in more detail in a separate comment. Tags can be added and deleted using the Yale Home App with the yellow module inserted. Those keys then work fine with the old set up and the white module inserted.

Yale...... Why would you release a product to your customers that doesn't work??? You have forced Conexis L1 users to upgrade their locks to these Yale access modules and use your WiFi bridge so it can be used online and integrated with their alarm systems. However you fail to mention that your WiFi bridge is completely useless and DOESN'T WORK with Home WiFi Mesh systems It's 2024 and A LOT of people have mesh systems at home. Your WiFi bridge simply doesn't work with them. Right now my Conexis L1 lock is showing as offline and in my alarm system my lock is showing as offline...... Why?? Because your useless WiFi bridge cannot be contacted by your servers because it's connected to the WiFi mesh router in my kitchen which is only 2 meters away from it. It's 2024 how come your developers don't have the skills to get that stupid WiFi bridge to have a connection when on a home WiFi system which uses mesh topology?? It's 2024 every other company can do it but not Yale. I was forced to pay £39.98 for your access module and WiFi bridge and now I have a none functioning lock and no access online or integration with my alarm system. Not exactly great OR SAFE!!!!! YOU NEED TO GET A FIX URGENTLY I am sure there are thousands of people with this exact same problem. Pay a decent developer to fix this Every other device in my house can work via the mesh system so why is Yale so useless???? You have completely ruined the security of my house and my Yale Conexis lock can only work now via Bluetooth when stood directly in front of it Thanks 👍🏻 great job

@@PrivateuserUK I found some info' in a forum but it's very simple to explain. The magnet needs to be stuck to the door frame so that the top of the magnet aligns with the top of the Yale logo on the plug in module cover. This ensures that the magnet is where it needs to be in relation to the module. I put the cover on the magnet first then stuck the complete thing to the door. I only did that because I didn't want to discover I had stuck the magnet too close to anything that might have prevented the cover going on top of it after. Not sure why that couldn't have been manufactured/supplied as one piece but it is what it is.
