@shikamakausis, you said yourself it's a single video. A single video does not possess HDR qualities, the effect can ONLY be faked unless you're using two or more videos overlayed over one another.

@CodyRicheson well that aint the fillter, you probably cant tell the difference between hdr and filters

İf you are faking the HDR using a single image input. in this case only a single video, you are going to get more noise because its multiplying the same noise over and over again. Usually using different (for example 3 inputs) you would have a different grain pattern on each shot wich would look smoother at the end. my suggestion would be to Denoise the footage at the beginning. and then do the HDR Process. Still looks awesome though:) Cheers

People shouldn't use the term HDR for filters that fake the effect.

really cool....I think the goal with HDR is to recreate the old technicolor film...and you need 3 cameras. It doesn't really matter if they are 5d or anything else, the film has to be shot in 3 different exposures. Sorry software geeks, you have to create something physically to get the best outcome. That hurts, I know.
