I think student asked that because when we are studying and watching your videos back to back, we have to sit through that first 2 min of introduction every single video. If I watch 7 video in one sitting I get 7 introductions, For this reason I have tried to find someone else’s videos to study with but honestly you are an amazing instructor (i actually learn from you) I just wish I didn’t have to listen to an introduction on every single video.. Maybe create one introduction video and at the beginning of the videos say if it’s your first time here refer to our introduction video. Or on the first video of set..Idk just an idea. I have bought you (lazy) study guide .. love it and love ur videos (just not so much the intro part on every video 😅)

@@kateryan8497 The exam is different in every state; but Most states will have between 10 and 15 nail questions, and given that there are 7 chapters on nails in the Milady textbook covering almost 200 pages there is a great deal of potential exam question material. That said, chapters 9 & 10 are among the most heavily tested as is the material in chapter 5 discussing proper cleaning & disinfecting of implements and pedicure bowls.

@ThreeGlamygirlz A Patch Test or PD Test is a test for a potential allergic reaction to Analine Derivative and Lightener / Decolorizer (Bleach) does not contain Aniline.

@@mackshack9000 The only virtual resource currently available for Barbers is Easy Pass which provides approximately 150 of the most commonly asked questions on the exam. If you want every Q & A on the exam you need to order the physical version ($59.95) with 3 - 5 day Priority Mail delivery.

Hello, I purchased the book and it needs some editing. There are multiple questions with the same number. Also, some of the answers are wrong or not listed as an answer choice. Ex. 112 in the nails and makeup section it asks which is NOT a form of hyperpigmentation. The answer listed is chloasma (also known as melasma) but the correct answer is actually vitiligo. 504 in the barber and cosmetology book is double numbered. These are just a few of the ones I noticed. Just wanted to bring some awareness, as this could be the 1 question determining a passing or failing grade.

As regards question 112 (Nails & Makeup), we are in agreement with you that the correct answer is a) Hyperpigmentation. However; as we are also providing you with questions & answers according to PSI (the company creating & administering the exam in 35 states) and according to the PSI study materials, the answer is C.
