Exactly. My spear doesn't have any trigger or button to release it. We have to hold it by hand after all.

@@joecoe25 True. We hardly have the right to spearfish in Japan. Most of fishermans complain or make us stop doing it when they find us even if we use the spear that is allowed by the prefectural law. And this law is so complex that speargun is always prohibited or some kinds of pole spear is also prohibited. You have to be careful when you spearfish in Japan.
