Hello, i tried the method but both my chana dal and moong dal Taste raw. I soaked them both(separately) for overnight, dried it on cloth and used the temperature mentioned by you. Chana dal was ok but seems its raw inside. Moong dal was completely raw. Any tips/suggestions? We use this snack almost every day thus want to make it at home to control ingredients as well as make it cost effective. Thanks.

I think boiled black Chana, Chana dal would be much better after soaking overnight with baking soda and rinsing it out and then adding to boiling water and giving 2 boils draining and then following the above instructions results will be much better. Thank you.

Thank you. This is very interesting. I’d like to verify a couple of things. The Dahl are not boiled before air frying & you use 1 T of oil per cup of Dahl. I’m also curious as to why you use whole & split Dahl. How do they differ in the finished product?
@bandanarathore
@bandanarathore 8 ай бұрын
The covering/hull of the daal gives a totally different flavour and the split or whole daal without the covering has totally different flavour.

Hi Thank You For Sharing your recipes with us. Just a query-Is it necessary to roast the Dals/ Channa in the Basket? Can we roast in the Air Fryer Container Itself?
@littlespicy911
@littlespicy911 3 жыл бұрын
Yeah you can roast directly using aluminum foil or butter paper on the bottom. I have small airfryer container that's why I am using it. Thank you

Nice recipe. Can we use aluminium cake tin instead of this vessel? I think putting the spice mix before maybe better.

Thank you so much. You can use any oven proof dish or mold in the airfryer. weather it is made of silicone or ceramic or glass or metal. If add spices in before it will burn spices and it test like bitter sometimes.

Hi, when you are mixing the almond flour in the sugar syrup, should we switch off the instant pot or in sauté mode?
@littlespicy911
@littlespicy911 3 жыл бұрын
When you add flour into sugar mixture, If the consistency is perfect means (make a ball using hand )you can switch off the instant pot. If it is watery put it on a saute mode per couple of minutes.
