Things I plan to do with Mephisto because they will be funny, not because they hold any strategic value: •Play him in Shadowlands Daredevil and voice and every time I activate either character have them declare themselves the real devil of Hell's Kitchen •Recruit him to S.H.I.E.L.D. with The Initiative and run A New Age and Brand New Day for the newest of times •Run Devil's Reckoning (Legion of the Lost) with Scarlet Witch and Vision and insist that this is how Wandavision was supposed to go

They have put out the new card, Devil’s Reckoning. Leadership. If your squad is unaffiliated they are now using Legion of the Lost. During the cleanup phase your opponent chooses one non dazed character they control without the Incinerate special condition or the Immunity Incinerate superpower. The chosen character gains one power and the Incinerate special condition. Additionally during the cleanup phase choose 2 characters you control. The chosen characters gain one power.

Though not a powerhouse on his own, he's deceptively versatile. I feel they hit the essence of Mephisto spot on, whether he's a good pick for a roster or not. 😀

Devils deal token: Reactive: whenever enemy model uses power, it now gains that power back and all enemy model rng3 of the affected enemy model suffer one damage and gain stun, root or hex. Or Reactive: whenever enemy model rng4 would use move action, use S move instead and enemy model gains 1 power. Or Reactive: whenever enemy model uses attack action, it gains 1 power and crits dont explode and dont count as successes and enemy model cant modify attack or defence dice.

Quick question, is Timeline the standard that everyone is kinda expecting to play? Like even for a casual pick up game?

I’m surprised that you will still play Researcher, as the card is only a 1 in 3 chance if your extraction are even chosen. With the other restricted it is at least your choice as to whether you use it.

I am not surprised at any of these changes. But i am surprised how quick they have came. Researcher has been a polarising crisis for a long time i think. No affiliation just likes it, its marmite and either loved or hated depending on your playstyle. This sina healthy change, but id like just see it as a secure tbh. Recalibration matrix is next for the chop......

Research restricted makes a lot of sense. It's a extract that works like a secure. I would have less issues with it if it were a secure...

The reason Research Station is NOT honest MCP is because if everyone is fighting in the middle trading blows, you just take the squad with the best numbers and flatten the decision making. At that point there's very little point playing at all. It's no longer a test of skill and wit, but tossing dice and seeing what happens. If you enjoy that kind of thing, there's nothing wrong with that of course! It's just not very interesting in the long run for most people I think.

These are all good changes. I am curious to hear your thoughts of warpath being rotated back in.

Reserch station was an interesting choice. AMG knows how to keep the community on its toes with a clever restricted choice. Subtle choice might annoy people, but keeps the meta in flux.

Researcher is an awful choice to restrict in my opinion. Fall back was edging into most rosters so yeah I understand it. The asgusrd card is odd for me as you have to focus 2 big boys in the same place to get the pay off and that could mean using rainbow bridge first so I think it’s a slightly odd choice. Don’t get me wrong the worthy is great but it’s abit unreliable.

I can understand Brothers at arms and even fall back to an extent. But for researcher to be restricted, sounds like a skill issue at AMG😂

He's far less problematic than Hellfire club. Because Drac's leadership only heals him, most splashes are only gaining the ability to give out bleeds and help heal Drac. Hellfire is an issue because the leadership ability is super strong and helps ramp other characters (because it's an easy way to gain more power). Plus, 4 vs 5 threat leader

when evaluating Thralls of Dracula, did you factor in the text as written “remove 1 damage from *this* character” i.e. just Dracula receives the healing?

About Mummy's area attack. Targets are chosen as part of declaring an attack, therefore changing the area size of the attack in the middle of the attack does nothing, as targets have already been chosen.

Nice midnight sons upgrade. Doubt any of these characters are your cup of tea though.

Quick note Rich: At around the 21 minute mark you mention that Frankenstein's Monster's card is something else that he needs to spend power on; this is not the case. The *ally* spends the power for the card, so it's a way to have *someone else* pay power to get Adam up the field (and have him take some damage and get some power in exchange). I actually think it does a lot for him.
