Because of this song alone, I wish I could say that Trini Alvarado was responsible for spurring the folk revival of the 1980's. But I have to say that credit belongs to Suzanne Vega.

i'm impressed - she evidently seemed to be singing herself - so I did some research and found out her father was a singer - and she had extensive singing experience on stage and screen I wish she showed some of this liveliness in her other work - while her delicate persona fits her delicate beauty - I think she needed something stronger to make it big
