Your still apparently only wearing glasses part time which means your eyesight must be fairly good without glasses for most things. I can't believe you have a child when you look so young yourself. I'm curious as to when you got your first glasses and if you were maybe noticing some issues with your eyesight during your pregnancy? I'm asking you that because approximately 50% of pregnancies results in vision changes to the soon to be new mother. So for a woman already wearing glasses she might only need an increase in her glasses. But for many that always had perfect vision there now wearing glasses for the first time. I'm wondering if you might have been one of them?

@@soundmanpt I had been wearing glasses before my pregnancy. I started wearing glasses roughly in my sophomore year of high school when I realized I couldn’t see the board at all. Although I do believe my eyesight got worse after I had my daughter. I don’t wear my glasses at home very often, I only wear them when I know I’ll wanna see far away.

@@AlyssaNoelle1021 Thank you for your reply. So sophomore year would have made you somewhere around around 15 or 16 years old. Do you think it was around the time you were going for your driver's learners permit? That usually happens when your 15 or 16. The reason for eyesight changing when pregnant is because as you know your pretty much everything in your body goes through change. So for your eyes it can cause a lengthening of the eyes. Sort of a stretching effect. That lengthening is what changes your eyesight. The one common factor is that the change in eyesight will only be for distances and not your near vision. So since you usually don't wear your glasses at home very often and mainly for things like going to a concert, the theater, a sporting event and of course driving, you only have a rather weak prescription. Most likely somewhere between -1.00 and -1.50 and maybe with a little bit of astigmatisms. Something that maybe of interest to you might be in saving quite a bit of money on glasses in the future. As an optician it was very common for nearly everyone to be paying between $150.00 to well over $350.00 for their glasses even with insurance. You might want to check out glasses available from several good on-line glasses sites. One of my girls was the first to come across one of the first glasses sites over 20 years ago. That site as well as several others are still around. Here are 4 that offer the best glasses for the best and lowest prices. Zenni Optical, Lensmart, Eye Buy Direct, and Payne Glasses. Each of them have very nice selections of glasses for as little as $7.00 and that includes the lenses in your prescription. Of course they have hundreds more for under $20.00 as well. It's actually extremely easy to order your own glasses in case your wondering. I have a feeling you would really love having a cute pair of prescription sunglasses. If you have any interest let me know and I can provide you several helpful tips on getting perfect fitting glasses.

Since your last video you got new glasses. As a retired optician I am assuming your prescription changed which is why you you needed your glasses changed. So are you going to be wearing glasses more often now? Even just a small change in your prescription it can take a day or so to get used to your new glasses and how different they feel from your previous glasses. Usually the change in prescription doesn't take much getting used to. I'm going to assume that your nearsighted since that's much more common than being farsighted at your young age. I liked your previous glasses, but these new ones look very nice on you as well. If you get your glasses from a local optical store I'm going to assume you most likely paid at least $150.00 out of your pocket for them. Have you ever considered ordering your glasses from any of the numerous on-line glasses sites? It really is a great way of saving a lot of money for really good quality nice looking glasses. Just for fun check out these sites that the girls in our store were ordering their glasses from. Our company actually provided each of them with new glasses every 6 months but they couldn't get sunglasses their free pairs. So for that reason they were going on-line for their prescription sunglasses. But of course they always seemed to find other regular glasses that they just couldn't live without. Anyway here are the sites that they preferred ordering from. Zenni Optical, Lensmart, Payne Glasses and Eye Buy Direct. It might surprise you that you can get your next glasses for as little as $7.00 and that includes the lenses in your prescription. They have hundreds for under $20.0. @@soundmanpt Thanks for commenting! I have multiple pairs of glasses, some with my new prescription and some with my old prescription. I haven’t gotten new glasses since my last eye doctor appointment. I mostly wear my glasses when I’m in public or when I’m driving. I almost never wear my glasses at home unless I’m watching tv. And you’re right! I’m nearsighted!!

I'm 76 by the way. So have you already been ordering your glasses for an on-line glasses site or have you been getting them locally? The only question that I have is if you have a pair of sunglasses in your prescription?

I have a suggestion for an upcoming video. Because you wear glasses quite often you should do a makeup video for girls and women that wear glasses. I'm sure I don't have to tell you that when you wear your glasses your eyes seem to get lost behind your glasses. So it's necessary to bring your eyes out more with the proper use of makeup. Generally speaking mascara and lashes. As a former optician that seemed to be one of the main things most women didn't like about wearing glasses. The store i worked in employed mostly young ladies an nearly all of them wore glasses. They often spent most of their free time working on their eye makeup. Your young, attractive and you wear glasses, so you should share your makeup tricks with other glasses wearers.
