So the thing is: online it says it costs 45K$ to climb. I am a young guy who is strong and fit. But where as a young guy should I get that amount of money from?

There are probably very few things that display global wealth inequality better than Nepalese people carrying the poop of Westerners down a 8,000 meter high mountain.

🙏What an amazing conversation!!! I’ve been trekking & mountaineering in the Himalayas for 10 years (including summiting Kangchenjunga) and had to learn so much of this day by day on the trail & from Sherpa friends. It was so helpful to hear everything presented so thoughtfully and thoroughly. Thank you!!!💙🏔️🇳🇵✨

That’s crazy that it’s so warm (90 degrees) … yet the snow doesn’t melt? I’d also be concerned about avalanches with it being that warm. Have you climbed K2 yet? In any event, enjoyed your videos!

Climb from sea level 3.000 meters in one hour? 🤔Not many top level trail runners can do that.

If you hire a local it’s like 20-25 grand. But they’re starting to realize their under paid so get it while you can. There’s more local groups where the climb will cost you 8 grand and you become a Naples citizen loo

Typical of Americans, build a damn hotel up in the mountains, while Mount Everest is supposed to represent a mortal challenge and an experience of a lifetime. I suppose most people just want to take pictures of the mountains for social media and spend rest of their time like they would in the comfort of their own home.

So after acclimatising in previous vids, then taking oxygen in the death zone, does that undo all the benefit derived from acclimatising in the first place?

I work at a luxury ski resort in Switzerland. Please don’t bring luxury to high altitude. It is just dangerous to have that type of mentality up there. If you want luxury - relax by the pool, please.

When are we going to see these people show what they did in on their climb in comparison to what the Sherpas did for them. You see people thank the Sherpas but they don't go through what and how much they did for them. The reason is because it dampens the glory they are seeking for themselves. It shows how reliant they are on somebody else to pursue their dream. They are never going to admit to anyone how much they didn't actually do for themselves, if they did nobody would be really that impressed. Everest is a queue of mostly privileged people contributing to a cess pit and when they are giving their motivational speech as guest speakers, they should acknowledge their part. Is so sad that Everest is the toilet for foreign ambition. Standing on top of the world's highest peak shows how. Exactly how low the human race will go to pursue it. Dump their rubbish, take a crap on the Mother Goddess of the World and walk past another dying human just to brag about what somebody else mostly did for them.
