be very careful with Turmeric; a few years ago I bought some turmeric and was juicing about 1/2”-1/4” inch with my juices each day for 5 days and one day I woke up and both my hands were swollen 😮🫣😬😱I could hardly move my hands for a few days.

I was so sure you needed the whole fruit to do a smoothie... But my real question is, does it really taste good? I'm a bit unsure about the yogurth. 😅

Hi! This smoothie is delicious! However, if you prefer to make this without greek yogurt, we'd recommend substituting the dairy or dairy alternative of your choice. We encourage you to tweak any recipes to better suit your personal preferences! Please feel free to email us if you have any further questions, we're here to help!

Can u make soy milk with them1?
@Namawell12 күн бұрын
Hi there! Yes, you can make soy milk with the Nama M1! However, since the M1 doesn’t have a heating element, making soy milk is a two-step process. Soybeans must be cooked first to create smooth, creamy soy milk in the M1 and to ensure safe consumption. Here’s how to make soy milk in the Nama M1: Start by soaking 1 cup of dry soybeans in water for 8-12 hours. After soaking, drain and rinse the soybeans. Then, cook them in boiling water for about 15-20 min, or until fully cooked and tender. Drain again, then let the soybeans cool off - They should not feel hot to the touch. Add the cooked soybeans to the M1, along with fresh water. For a creamier consistency, we recommend a 1:2 ratio of cooked soybeans to water. Add to the M1 and blend for 1 min. If desired, add a natural sweetener like maple syrup, dates, or vanilla during the blending process to taste. Once completed, you’ll have homemade soy milk ready to enjoy. Hope this helps!

Did you pit the cherries?
@g3MZ1ZA11G00D13 күн бұрын
No🙄😮💨
@Namawell12 күн бұрын
Hi! Yes, in this recipe we removed the pits from the cherries prior to juicing. We recommend removing the large seeds or hard pits of your produce (such as cherries, mangoes, dates, peaches, papaya, etc.) prior to juicing so that you don't damage your juicer. Hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any further questions!

So where is the skin from the almonds
@Namawell12 күн бұрын
Hi! You can leave the skin on the almonds when making this recipe in the M1. It is also not necessary to pre-soak your nuts and seeds to make milk in the Nama M1 Plant-Based Milk Maker. The M1 was designed specifically to deliver great results without the need for soaking. Please feel free to email us with any further questions! We're here to help!

Hi there, the J2 is a high quality, slow masticating juicer with technology that preserves nutrients. It produces delicious juice and dry pulp, ensuring you get the most out of your produce. It also essentially juices for you and provides a hands-free juicing experience, which is why it is known as the "game changing juicer" in the juicing space. Overall, those are the main reasons for its price point. We do offer the J1 and J3 at a lower price point that offers the same high strength and quality. Additionally, we offer various interest free payment plan options to make the juicers more accessible. To stay up to date on any potential future promotions, you can sign up for our newsletter on our website, linked in our bio, or follow us on Instagram @namawell. Hope this helps!

So it’s best to juice watery items with spinach to get more juice ?
@Namawell17 күн бұрын
Hi there! We have a layering guide included in your juicer box to ensure that produce is juiced in an efficient way: light leafy greens at the bottom followed by softer produce, like lemon or pineapple, and medium/hard produce, like celery, apples, carrots, beets, etc. When juicing only or mostly soft fruits we’d recommend toggling between "on" and "reverse" once or twice to get the max yield and help push the fiber out of its exit. We also suggest cutting up your produce into smaller pieces prior to juicing, or running soft fruits through with drier produce like kale. Hope this helps! Please email us directly with any further questions so we can better support you! We're here to help!

You can see the maple syrup and vanilla went right to the drain spout before mixing. And after mixing you can still see the maple and vanilla did not get thoroughly mixed in. What about putting water in first then the other liquid to better mix.
@Namawell23 күн бұрын
Hi there! When the milk is dispensed through the spout into your pitcher, it helps mix any vanilla extract or other liquid ingredients that may have settled at the bottom, ensuring they blend with the milk. You can also give it a quick stir before serving to ensure everything is thoroughly distributed. For best results with the M1, we recommend adding the dry ingredients first, followed by the wet ones. However, if you'd prefer to add the water before the other liquids, feel free to experiment and see what works best for you! We hope this helps, and please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any other questions. 💚
