I don't have the drkshdw ones but I doubt the cotton would be easy to rip. I personal preference would always be the mainline as I feel the price difference is justified by the leather.

Ouuh that's a great question! My personal view is that the Bottega Veneta is more of a trendy item whereas those might last in time. Also, I feel like the Rick Owens tractor boots are more radical!

Hey man, I really loved this video. Very well made and informative. I usually wear US size 10 (EU 43). I suppose I should go for size 9 (EU 42)? SSENSE had one last pair in size 43 and they sold out. The only next size they have are 45.5 I assume those would fit too large? Was wondering what you would suggest... (Of course, as a friendly suggestion only). I am new to Rick Owens and I don't know how his clothes fit. Was wondering if you could maybe suggest what size I should go for? As a benchmark, I wear tshirts XXL or XL if they are oversized fit. Are Rick's trousers too skinny or thin? I really liked your cropped trousers and was wondering if XXLs from Rick Owens (or if you know other brands that make clothes for large people) would possibly fit... Apologies if this is too many questions and thanks again for the awesome video. Subscribed already!

Hello! Sorry, I must have missed your comment! 45.5 would definitely by too large for you and I would maybe recommend the size down especially if you can return it. As for your size, I would recommend going TTS or one size over. My personal view is that the oversize look is part of the Rick Owens aesthetics so you can't go wrong there. For the pants, I would probably recommend going 1 larger size for the pants if they don't have a waist band (like the cropped trousers) if there is a waistband then you can pretty much pick any sizes! Sorry again for the last response and I hope it helps!

Great styling. How do you resole your Marsell shoes? I have a beautiful pair with leather soles and don’t know if I should resole with leather as the original shoe or with rubber to protect them more on rainy days. Do you wear your shoes when it rains?

That's a great question! Typically, I would try to avoid the rain as much as possible. My recommendation would be to stay with the leather sole to keep the aesthetics and the nature of the shoes. What is also feasible is to resole with a leather sole and add a slim vibram sole to the shoes to protect them. I hope this helps!

Next time, can you do a closer look of the shoes when you have them on-feet? I have a pair of Marsell boots and I'm planning on buying a 2nd pair of Marsell Boots. The first one I got on sale for $400 (orig. $1245). The 2nd. pair is $1498. They are so expensive.

@@reveri7182 I did buy them, but shockingly, I couldn't get my feet to fit into them. The opening into the footbed was too small. I just created a channel with my first silent video. I'm going to upload a 2nd video which will be my first and only Marsell boots on-feet in the next day or two. I'm just now learning to create a channel and content. Thanks.

How are the sizing of the Rick Owens bauhaus pants. Cause I’m not sure on what size to get them in. I’m a 32, but with bigger thighs. I don’t want a super tight fit I want a snug but comfortable fit

Hello! I definitely would recommend going one size up (34) because they definitely fit snug! The waist can always be adjusted with the drawstring :) I hope this helps!

I don't recall exactly how much I paid for them, but I would definitely encourage you to find them at a discount, especially if you sold a lot of your previous shoes. You definitely want to have the most Rick for your buck! It's relatively easy to wait for a 10-20% discount in October and November. Also, if you are willing to wait you can monitor pairs in your size at multiple retail during their sale season. Finally, there is always the secondary market :) I hope this helps!

These are some of the most TTS shoes you can find out there...so it's advisable not to go up or down in sizes and stick to your regular size

Im currently leaning towards the 60mm (for the extra height lol) but out of interest, would you say this pair is a bit much as my first boot? Would you say it's harder to "pull off" due to the extra height on the heel or would it work just the same as the 40mm iteration? great vid btw!

Thank you for the comment, and sorry for the late response! To be honest, I really like the 60mm. They are a little bolder, but it's kind of addictive! The heels provide an odd confidence booster! I would say as a first boot, I would go with the best deal: If you go with the 40mm you will enjoy them right away and then potentially migrate to the 60mm and if you go straight to the 60mm you will maybe be a little self-conscious at first but then love them :) I hope this helps!

Bonjour bonjour- Est-ce que tes bottes se sont étirées de manière conséquente après quelques journées où tu les as portées? J’ai essayé celles-ci ainsi que les 210 dans les derniers jours dans du 42. Bien que je "rentre dedans", c’est assez serré/je peine à faire rentrer des pantalons à l’intérieur. Je te posais la question car les 43 sont en rupture de stock chez ssense et que je veux éviter de tomber sur une réplique/contrefaçon dans le marché secondaire si je me mets à la recherche de 43. Hello! Désolé du temps de retard! Je dirais que le cuir ne s’est pas étiré de manière conséquente! Ma suggestion serait de les essayer mais je te suggère pas de les prendre trop petite avec l'espoir que les bottes s'agrandiront. J'espère que ça t'aide!
