When you do videos, hit the LOCK on the focus so the focus won't adjust the entire time.

Damn... 5 years ago. Getting ready to dig into my 5.7. I have a lifter tick and as we all know, that means the heads are coming off, so basically I'll have a short block sitting in mounts. Might as well let her breath a bit better. Seems you have a very capable combo and I was hoping to see some "tried and true" setups.

I still have this car and the turbo kit on it. It’s been driven quite ALOT. I can’t say I’ve had much problems except a blown flex joint on the crossover pipe. I eliminated that flex and never had an issue again. I checked out on wastegate at first and the cheapo wastegate failed in less than a year. I put a Tial on it and never looked back. Manifold has never cracked. With the stock motor and 10 psi of boost it ran 11.10 at 128mph. It’s got a built motor and at 20+ psi now. Haven’t run it yet.

@@oceanwaves83 I went with a BTR stage 2 truck cam. It’s idle good. There is no chop. I do have to get it re-tune. That cam doesn’t require a torque converter. But I went with a 2500-2800 stall. It feels good, everyone likes it. To my opinion I think it’s a tap too big & a 2200 stall would probably be better. I believe the factory converter is a 1750. Maybe when I feel like it, I’m going to install the factory torque converter back on
