Goodness gracious. What a number. Jerry and Weir can do whatever they want.

Thanks to someone who pointed it out in an article about this version, I'm enjoying Keith Godchaux leading the others in a dance around the song's key from about the 15:00 mark until just before the second verse while Garcia remains in the song's key.

You go to the comments section of any Dead song and all you see is pure bliss, hapiness and connection. That's so powerful. I can't think of a band that made music as powerful as this right here... We must keep this music alive - maybe it's our last resort to this distopian world we're beginning to see nowadays.

Sitting in a basement exploring the universe hearing this for the first time at 16 in 79 discovering everything i ever needed to know for decades and already knowing how it would all turn out pretty soon. Went on immediately to obtain two undergraduate degrees with no money and eventually two masters degrees. Never had any money, never cared. God did that for me and for sure Jerome assisted me muchos😊

If you guys listening to this music without seeing Fela love it so much you can then imagine how we that were always there at Fela's house listening with Fela seated and also watching him on stage regularly doing the song live feels. I was always there and it was always AWESOME 🔥 Steve Black

...your starlit version, applicable by aLL standards for its depth and intensity. I first heard this version whilst on a prowl for their ultimate spring show, and made my acquaintance with this here. While there exist miLLions of renditions capable of jaw dropping renaissance, one must not become too careless in walking straight through the forest in which many roam freely. I could write more, but I'm afraid it would distract from the intended purpose their music serves....

It's wonderful to hear him singing in Spanish a sensual and difficult song to interpret (even for a Hispanic). Few people like the talented Gino Vannelli take on the challenge and emerge triumphant. His singing manages to convey the longing and nostalgia of a complex lyric and manages to make it completely his own. 💯 Respect Gino 💪🏻 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Listen to these wise words .....the more that you give ..... the more they take ....... to give to a murdering terrorist called zelenskyy, nothing new here then , the terrorists will even print the money for themselves , as they do indeed ...thanks for the signposts in life gerry and the dead .... better than their terrorist religion of freedom .....
