What kind of kayak is this?

The kayak are designed for the river. The video is shot from a Pyhrana Burn - a white water creek boat. The others are club boats which tend to not be too edgey and no to short so the track reasonably.

Good idea getting in the water and holding the boats Paul. Really like that for teaching water flow under the boat while maintaining confidence in the boater

This is the River Dee in Scotland, from Balmoral to Dinnet (unfortunatly battery failed before Dinnet which is a good grade 3 rapid). The river is at a moderate winter level 1 m on the SEPA Polliholik gauge).

Loved this!!! I’m just getting started on the white water myself and own a 232. Started with Symonds Yat a couple of weeks ago and loving it. Let me know if you’re ever travelling down to north wales. I’d love some training and you certainly know what you are doing! Cheers for the video ✌🏼

This is the Dee in Scotland - getting on at Potarch, the next rapid is Cairnto, followed by Invercannie. Give me a shout if you ever want to paddle it.
