goedemorgen, ik heb de automatische opener gekocht, en wil dit installeren, maar ik kan dat onderste plaatje niet vastmaken aan de serre. ik heb wel in de doos ook nog twee terrasvijzen ( ik weet de echte naam niet) kan het zijn dat ik die voor het onderste moet gebruiken?

Not an easy to use window opener AT ALL. When closing the window fully after it being fully opened the threaded cylinder comes off the cylinder housing very annoying & cumbersome to use. Not user friendly at all

The Univent opener fits my late-1970s Eden greenhouse perfectly. This is a superior-quality product that will give you many, many years of trouble-free service. How do I know that? Because the units I'm replacing, one of which started leaking fluid last summer (2021), have cylinders stamped with "Orbesen Teknik 1984". These old openers had been working year in, year out, for 37 years ! One of them still does work. When buying two or more openers direct from the manufacturer, the Univent and, no doubt, other products in the range provide excellent value for money: Feb 2022, I paid 29 GBP per unit with free delivery from Denmark. I highly recommend this company and its products.

Do these cylinders need to be taken indoors for the winter? Our low temperatures here in zone 6 are 0 degrees Fahrenheit?

It dos not fit Vitavia 5000, their own greenhouse model, really odd :(

We live in a windy area. The problem is when they are open the window shakes when the wind blows. Is there any way to stop them from doing that.

I built a hot box out of recycled wood and painted it black. I made a cover from an old storm door and used this product to open the cover on sunny days when it got warm in the box. Have lettuce, spinach, and kale all winter. I got 3 years use out of the first opener and bought another for this winter. I love going out in the snow to get lettuce.

out of curiosity, what type of gas is in the cylinder?

I am interested in this product. How long the cylinder will run? Can I refill or have to replace it with a new cylinder?

Thanks, this helped me install this opener on my elderly mum's greenhouse - It saves her from climbing on a stall to open and close the window, and works really well! I chose to insert a narrow strip of a rubber bicycle inner tube between the window bracket clamp and the frame to give it extra grip, because it kept slipping off no matter how hard I tightened the bolts. Smooth aluminium! It was easier than drilling new holes in the frame, which is what I was considering even though the instruction booklet said it wasn't necessary.

This vent doesn't appear to fit Palram greenhouses. You should supply additional hardware so that it fits.
