1st of all you bought a tool that was screwed up for 80 bucks so regardless of the battery and charger ...youre an idiot. Second, you evidently don't do much for hard work at all . Third, your ego precedes you a bit too much, fourth do you talk to your mother with that mouth??

Nice one mate, found one of these at the dump yesterday in amazing physical condition. Just doesn't go. Not even the LED. But the connection at the battery gets really hot when connected. Do you think the handle plastic part will come apart without needing to pull the rubber boot of etc? Looks like it will. Will probably do a video on a hopeful fix myself. Thanks for the info bud.

What is the exact name of grease that you put on gears of the tool? Is Mobil 1 synthetic grease ok for this?

Restoration companies- I've been working for a water and fore restoration company for a few years now. When there is water damage to drywall, the easiest and quickest way to remove drywall is with a reciprocating saw.

Here's a sawzall tip I learned a long time ago. If ur cutting sheetrock or pipe with water in it... coat some grease on the blade shaft... put it on there. This won't happen ever again!

Properly it is still under warranty. You should send it back to Milwaukee eService Center for a free repair. My brand new Milwaukee M18 Fuel Brushless Super Sawzall broke within a week of purchase. The super sawzall is not working. Milwaukee eService Center replaced the trigger switch and returned it back to me However, Milwaukee did not fix the sawzall stop problem and the noisy gear problem. You are right it needs more grease too. I sent my super sawzall back to the eService Center for a second repair It sucks the super sawzall repair time is longer than its working time. Milwaukee sawzall won the longest repair time instead of the run or working time over all brand of sawzalls. My brand new Milwaukee Super Sawzall broke down within a week. I sent my defective Super Sawzall back to Milwaukee eService Center. Customer service team lead agreed to send me a new replacement Milwaukee Super Sawzall. Great! Thanks to Milwaukee customer team lead.

I just bought the new one and its gears make a rough sound at low rpm. I might open mine up and put more grease in. Or do I just need to run it with load until the grease heats up and spreads?

It's a shitty design. I don't use mine a lot, but when I do it's usually to cut drywall. Cutting overhead the dust goes right inside that cavity and doesn't come out even with compressed air. The blade release broke again for the second time today. I don't even think it's been a year since had to send it in last time and I'm wondering if I can get rid of the plastic collar and weld a small handle to the part that holds the blade. The metal nut blade release that milwaukee and other brands have used for years works just fine I don't know why they decided more plastic was a good idea.

FYI, Even if you aren't the original owner, Milwaukee still fixes it under warranty if the 5 years hasn't lapsed. They use the date code to determine the age if no proof of purchase is included. I know this because I did the same thing, bought one used on Craigslist that had a loose battery connection for $80, then i sent it in and they replaced it no charge. But hey, you wouldn't have learned all that if you just had them do it for you so, good job.

I have a couple different phone mounts that I use with my various tripods and mounts so I can use both hands when taping. Also, you can get a bluetooth remote that you can tether to your phone to start and stop your recording without needing to touch your phone. Just passing along a couple tricks I use in my video production. Smart phones these days shoot awesome video. Heck, the new iPhone shoots video in 4K! Happy shooting! Zip~
