When I found your website, that promises Red Skelton movies, I was so excited. Until I realized that there are no movies, only trailers. WHY???

Milky the Clown was good with sleight of hand. I'd quite like to see more of him and the magic tricks he performed, as I'm sure others would too, and thus it's a real shame this short clip is the only known extant footage of Milky the Clown. Sadly preservation just wasn't paramount with these sort of live local TV shows back in those days, and even if/when they did videotape something the tapes were usually reused & recorded over to save money and eventually discarded. Heck, as popular as the Chicago WGN-TV Bozo the Clown show was, there's unfortunately very few episodes from that show's first couple of decades which still survive. Anyway, much respect to Milky for performing for & putting a smile on the face of little polio-stricken (I assume) Nancy Dykstra! 🤡

Was Gladys Bentley referred to as Fatso during her lifetime? Her other name was Bobbie Minton. Why insult thewoman?

All the 80's guitar virtuoso era goes back to this massively talented pioneer man. They owed him a lot... He almost did every single trick in the book of virtuoso techniques, already in the 1920's! 🎸 🔥 🎶

It's hard to believe they got together and started singing in the 1960's but weren't offered an opportunity to record until the 1970's

Beautiful and happy I found them. I did a concert with Grisman and his son Samson in Hot Springs Montana where I live south in Missoula. I am looking at property in Montcalm West Virginia. Home of Hazel Dickens. Thanks for sharing this.

Unknown performer named Nee Wong? Anyway, it's great that so many of these early experimental sound films survive and in such good condition. I know there are many in the hands of the Library of Congress.
