Happens almost every damn time. An interesting game that's fun, uh oh drama between the devs causing mental health issues and the result is the game is basically done for. Basically why I never put any hopes in games with a small dev team, cause it always ends in shambles.

calex downfall happened because he stopped treating people like people not just the people he hired but much of the community as well he would constantly take his anger out on people with reasonable questions just because of the part of the community that was unreasonable it was unbearable to have a conversation with him half the time

hi bcwo friends who recognize my name honestly i knew something like this was gonna happen and i stopped playing bcwo a long time ago and tried to push myself out of the community because it's starting to spiral downwards. there's been so much outrageous drama in the community, our closest friends being pedophiles, the worker revolution i unintentionally almost started because of how the blacksmiths and (some of) us info members felt towards compensation (we didn't even get an in-game title for being an info member), house being fired, and so much more. it's honestly been such a wild and ridiculous ride in this community and if the game ends here, i just wanna say thank you to all of you who shaped my experience with the game and made it fun. i appreciate the long lasting friends i made from being in the community and i'm glad i was able to contribute something through being an info member. take care, everyone!

after like 2 hours of summarization to the best of my ability (note that Calex himself decided to make this document public): - the game grew more popular which became a huge target for exploiters in the cw community - game got [Content Deleted] because of Calex adding a dialog telling the player to kill themselves. regarding what is said about exploiters in this part, they didn't have anything to do with such - a lot of the events when Calex saw Rod giving out custom items to his vip friends didn't happen. The part where Rod tried to boot off Calex from the dev team didn't happen, as well as the custom items never being deleted in the first place. The part where Calex brings up helping Rod getting the dominus rex was eaterials thing. - regarding with House messing with items and getting away with it because he's "a friend", Rod had nothing to do with it. - in the christmas part of the document around the middle, it's true he used his own profit to pay them a lot of the time, though he wasn't *required* to do so. - The end where he describes the game as his child, "a creation to sacrifice and nurture for," it's likely assumed that he worked on bcwo most of, if not almost all of his time. - Calex also admits to viewing his people as "assets" rather than a friend. - one of his "behind the scenes" examples was him replacing Rod's work with a known pedophile (in which Calex WAS aware of this). - the document states that SuperCoolUsername (or Dank) wanted to take a break because of something between her and Rod. In Calex's fear of the state of the game, he hired Staranen (which made the situation worse). - Dank was upset because she previously stated she didn't want someone she didn't trust to access her code, and also the fact that Calex did this without her permission. - the document brings up a "hatred" between Rod and Dank, but that's been long resolved. - the boss rush as mentioned in the document was "supposed" to be released during the event. However as boss rush was barely coded, it was never expected to release in the first place. - going back to the part where Calex says Rod didn't pay the blacksmiths, he admits he was "scared" to ping him on who to pay. may be other major parts I missed (other than the fact he has constant mental issues) but here's what's scuffed out.
