If you are going to chip that, a 55 degree wedge is not the right club. Too much back spin; you need something that roles out. I would putt that, but if I had to use an iron it would probably be my 8i with 75% of my weight on my lead foot, feet close together, and ball on the inside of my trail (back) foot. Raise the handle up and choke down on it to get the toe of the club low to help eliminate spin, and press it forward to deloft the face. Then swing it like a putter. So yeah, just putt it.

No but you can play by specific rules if it's just you and buddies. When we play a scramble and you get in vines or rocks that's more the maintenance crew not going wall to wall mowing. So we just do a 5 to ten inch free drop BACK from the issue in those situations. It will still be a tough shot usually so it's how we decide to play our game and it's more enjoyable. Unless you are actually in a tournament or something with a reward factor you should be as honest as possible. It only improves your game.

I’ve only ever had somebody pull the pin for me lol off the green twice. The first time was in a tournament and I made the chip. The second was the second day of the tournament and I got cocky and had them pull it again but lipped out so it was definitely warranted. The comments I got after the round about watching me play on the PGA tour soon boosted my ego wayyyyyyy too much. Sadly got 2nd in the tournament 😂😂
