Whitney Houston was the Queen of Soul, this is her song that she made famous. Dolly here is an amazing singer, but I think she should stick to country. She is not a very good soul singer...

Hi Dolly Parton,I've looked up to you ever sence I was a little girl when I seen you on unlikely angel.

Dolly vocals are cleaner and pitch perfect,unlike WH who was unable to sustain the pitches,hence why she double-clutched various pitches,
@sorayamartinez19717 жыл бұрын
XTXT1555 hahaha I've been to Whitney's concerts and she always sung in live better than in the studio and even Mariah and Celine could not touch her in live singing! Dolly sings horrible in live and everyone with ears and who is not a racist will notice that! My ears still hurt!

Love this song by Dolly ever since I saw here sing it in the movie Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. When ever Whitney sang it, I could visualize Dolly happily skipping off to the bank to put her royalties in.

"I Will Always Love You" was first written and recorded in 1973 by Dolly Parton and released in 1974 on Parton's album, Jolene. She re-recorded the song in 1982 for the soundtrack of The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas."I Will Always Love You" reached number one on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart both times. Whitney Houston recorded her version of the song for the 1992 film The Bodyguard.

Love Dolly and love Whitney. Dolly wrote the song, but for me... A person who loves soul music... Whitney's voice does it for me. Not saying Dolly is bad or anything, just the way she sings it isn't my taste.

I like both Whitney's and Dolly's versions. But Whitney hit the high note much better so yeah. But Dolly hit the low notes well. :I
