Went there as a kid in 1972ish. My Dad was from Leland and took us from CA to IL to see where he came from and the only time we visited our Grandpa Olson.

Every trip group has a David-the guy who mysteriously avoids all expenses, talks his way past security, and somehow convinces everyone that missing the flight is part of the adventure

I live in Paris and I'm French with Algerian parents. This is the best video I've seen about visiting Algeria (and I've seen many). The narration and editing are really good and very informative. The beauty of the country is often overlooked, maybe because the authorities and service providers are still learning how to better promote the destination. Videos like this really help show what people miss. It's been a long time since I've been there, and watching this makes me want to go back. Thank you

In the same process we go through it as Algerians to get the USA Visa and most countries around the world just because of something that happened in the past in 1989

Your camera movement would benefit from a faster shutter speed 1/60 or faster. Thumb up anyway.

Did you know a city in the USA has been named after the Emir Abdelkader, the Algerian national hero you are mentioning in your vlog? It's Elkader, Iowa.

The negative point in the wonderful video is that the background music is not Algerian. It is oriental music that has nothing to do with Algerian music of various styles.
