At last. The real entertainment is almost upon us! These presentations are always superb, well-written, and brilliantly hosted. I can't believe how underrated these shows are.

Underrated, unfortunately yes. No one ever mentions the Cheap-O-Scope shows. But how much more fun is this than The Project?

Decades ago, I sent a cassette tape of my singing a polka version of "Like a Virgin" to Maynard's radio show which he played on air - amazing! Happy to find this KZbin channel, subscribed!

@@Maynardcomau Hey! It would have been 1992 JJJ breakfast show I reckon - I remember it as a competition to "See Madonna with Maynard" at her 1992 concert. I still have the "Guide to Dag" book you sent me heh! I was pretty shy back then and it was amazing to hear my own dubious singing on the radio on your upbeat show - thank you Maynard! 😊

@Maynardcomau Жыл бұрын
She went on to work on travel shows on commercial tv as a producer and has a very intelligent and talented family. But search for her on my channel and you'll see a few Graveyard Shift shows. Plus she joined me as Emma Peel on my rewind show. That is in full on my website. Also she joined me along with Donna Gubbay for a Star Trek special filmed on the set of OSTrek when it was at the powerhouse. Enjoy. Foxtel has thrown all the music tapes out when they closed Channel V.

@@Maynardcomau amazing! I will be all over your website mate. What a disgrace to throw out all the Channel V tapes - What the hell!? I love your vids man. I am an Aussie living overseas, so your vids are a real comfort for me. Please keep it up! Thanks Maynard. I am now going to seek out Tabitha!

What a great video. Too many things to applaud. LOVE the Castanet Club! And that suit and tie looks amazing but you're making me hungry for a roll of Five Flavour Life Savers. I really enjoyed hearing the Wonder World theme song in the background too. This is real entertainment.

So sad to hear this after hearing of burt's passing. A total genius who brought songwriting on to a new level of sophistication. He used a highly trained classical background to create perfect yet unusal songs, which are just so great to listen to. RIP Burt, there will never be another you.

Maynard, I LOVE the Danger Island music at the start! Next time you should continue the island theme and play The Lost Islands opening sequence music. Other options include Butterfly Island, Fantasy Island, and Gilligans Island. They're all great tunes in their own right and just nostalgic as hell.
