I saw them in Stanley Park for an outdoor show. It was great, but the crowd was very very passive. Gord had to invite people out of their seats to dance and when the band came out for an encore, everyone was quietly making their way to the exit. Such an odd night. I think Kathleen Edwards opened and remember I liking the lead guitarist.

I saw him in Austin, Texas. Drank whiskey from his coke-machine-glow dixie cup, got the set list. Gord was so kind, gracious, humble, chatted for a bit, his face.. he was so beautiful, I couldn’t believe he was right in front of me. I’m so lucky to have that memory, so grateful.. I love you boys, thank you..

Paul, I've been a big fan for the longest of times. I saw the documentary when it came out and watched it again this week with my 18 y.o. son. It was an opportunity for him to understand where dad's music came from, what it meant, and why it mattered. It gave him a new found appreciation for the music and the lyrics. Thank you for letting the fire burn. Long live the Hip

Just got into the hip and I’ve been really trying to find a band to gravitate to since I’ve really burnt my self out listening to so much rock like Radiohead, zeppelin, Floyd, strokes and wayyyyy more but god damn are these guys so crisp and unique song writing wise. They play together so perfectly, it makes me so happpy they are Canadian. Long live the Hip.

I can't enjoy this album at all knowing how much the rest of the band disliked the entire process of its creation and how alienated Rock made hem feel from their own band and creative process. That sucks.

That is painful to listen to. That was unbelievably bad. Perhaps tune the instruments so that they match each other and everybody try singing in the same key........ Not good
