Very helpful - EXCEPT - why did you record it a half step flat? Makes it much more difficult to play along and learn it in the original key.

It’s an old seventies trick, record in a lower pitch and speed up to make it sound tighter. The purpose of the tutorial is to explain the harmonies via the scores.

Great breakdown of a great song. I'm looking forward to introducing this to my weekly jam group after the holidays. They want to focus on singing with harmonies. I'd love to get a copy of the pdf for the vocal parts along with the backing track. Thank you and Happy Holidays!

Nice job, but really... the title on the sheet music should read: Stephen Stills.

I just knew deep down that someone had taken the time to do a vocal tutorial for this classic piece of American music. Thank you for being the trio who felt the need and the inspiration to create such a tutorial and share it with those of us who feel the need to try to recreate this masterpiece whether it be for a public performance or simply a personal project or vocal experimentation. Thank you 🙏

A perfect aid to so many trying to emulate such a brilliant vocal
@audejavel232910 ай бұрын
The first voice on the score is the Stephen Stills voice, the second is the David Crosby's, the third is the Graham Nash's voice, that's great, it's very precise, with this any trio can sing this song in the right way, well done very good tutorial...

this is all tuned a step down?
@100procentbob11 ай бұрын
It’s worse, we tuned it down and recorded the vocals. Then we increased the tape speed to make it sound more compact. As a result the tuning is less than a step down.
