What size card was it? Its likely not fake and a lot comes down to the adapter, example, having that same problem thinking it was the card, put it in my phone and have full access to the card. its 9/10 the adapter or the psp model causing some issues hardware wise

@@chillman2011 The card's a 128 GB. Formatting is only an issue when formatting on the psp, mine is a 3001 model. Larger SD cards seem to just have problems when formatting in psp.

The PSP is struggling with looking thru SD card since it’s big it could be the adapter or the SD Card but you will have to run it on a computer to format your SD into FAT32 if you manage to do that and it still doesn’t read your SD maybe the SD Card reader is dead

I wish it could index everything on a 256 gb card. For example if I have a multiple seasons of a TV show it says corrupted on certain episodes.

@@cemsengul16 Not sure if beyond 128gb it can corrupt stuff, but so far im using a psp memory stick adapter with 2 64gb memory card, total 128gb and i have now 900mb left. It can read everything i have put inside. Maybe using 2x 128gb card with this adapter could be easy to prevent corrupting then a single one 256. I will try in future.

@@nyaa104 I tested with 2x 128gb and it would only read one card. Then i got a single card with 256gb and with some formating software i managed to make the psp read it. I stored 300+ ISO games and had to use folder plugin to make it less slow when reading the game list.

Get a PSP Memory Stick to Micro SD adapter off Amazon first. Then once you have both, if your Micro SD is above 32gb your going to have to use a program called Rufus to format the microsd card into Fat32 format. Then put the micro SD card back in the psp and your good

Your wish is answered. Purchase a funturbo single sd to memory stick adapter. Download windiskimager32 and download a file from google called zz blank.img. Open disk imager and load zzblank.img and select your massive single sd card such as 256 or 512 GB and click write. Now download fat32 formatter gui and select your newly blank card and click quick format. The last step is to copy and paste a PSP memory stick folder structure with the two memstick IND files. Now insert the card onto your PSP and you will not have to format on the PSP itself anymore, it will just recognize the single massive card. I recommend you format a small sd card to get the folders needed and click view hidden files in Windows and copy everything from that small SD card you just formatted on a PSP onto the new massive card you just created.

Get a Vita, games work and play perfectly there, the screen is better, and you can add sharpening, plus you get to play ps Vita games too

Depends on the size of each game! You have the added flexibility of being able to shrink your games/strip them of some movies/music track files etc. that you don't want to decrease the game size but 256GB is more than enough to fit the majority of the entire PSP catalogue onto that size stick trust me!

It's probably a scam, some times they put malware at the SD card and they change the files which tells the computer how much capacity it has. If you fill up all the storage the files are gonna start to corrupt

@@rafaelfutbal Yesterday I finally got 128 gbs to work on the single adapter. But the dual adapter doesn't work at all!!!! I am paranoid to buy the 256 gb because it's so expensive. It's hard to know which adapter works. But I set it up completely with crack! 128 is fine for now. Maybe I will buy 256 gb sd card. But I will hate it if it doesn't work with the single adapter!!

When you insert the 128gb card.Then format your memory card. After that it will work!
