Izvanredan avion. Od bombardera jedino je Moskito imao takvu brzinu, a i Moskito nije bio klasičan bombarer, bio je univerzalan avion.

If Japan is allowed to build its army again, I am very sure that they will efficiently build a strong army, navy and airforce within 3-5 years. Their workforce is always committed, dedicated and focus when it comes to defend its motherland

Theres literally like 4 videos about this aircraft on all of KZbin.
Incidentally, the Airspeed is the same aircraft flown by the famous and record-setting aviatrix Amy Johnson, which unfortunately crashed in the Thames estuary in 1941. Her body was never found.

This did not end well for the US. A German recon plane followed them back to Poltava. That night the Luftwaffe attacked the airfield and destroyed many B-17's and P-51's. The Russians just let them go ahead and do it. When the operation wound down the Russians were incredibly about the accounting of supplies left behind. You can read the real story if you google "The Poltava Debacle" in Air Force Magazine,

The fact that they were able to manufacture that many b-29s and be able to train the crew to fly them in such a short period of time is crazy !!

They- P-51b/c models were fast @440/442 mph but those razor backs had reported lateral stability issues and bad stall issues, and the set up of 4 .50 cal machine guns had jamming issues. The "slower" (437 mph) P-51D was much better overall and a more powerful merlin variant engine

486 (NZ) Sqdn was NEVER a Royal New Zealand Air Force squadron, it was an Article 15 Sqdn, under RAF control, based in UK. Manned by many New Zealanders, it also had British pilots on-strength, and the ground-crew was almost entirely British.

another solution looking for a problem. A 1934 Hurricane was faster than this. Fokker could have produced 150 G1's by 39 instead of dicking around with new designs
