Umm, correct me if I'm wrong, da baby kinda small. Tortoise? So sunbathing and juciey veggies. Peas and carrots would have plenty of moisture, but Shelly likes dark leafy greens. Bell peppers maybe? The physical rehab will be the key. So promote movement later by "breadcrumbing" food so she walks more. Not sure though I had red ear sliders. Good work, save the ones we can.😇🐸⛑️

This may sound counter intuitive, less handling is less stressful. Scratching or brushing with toothbrush maybe soothing, just not near wound. It can be left in box to get use to it and is smaller than hands.❤

I'm doing the same thing. Been holding onto my lifelong possessions for 9 years since I became unhoused due to becoming disabled. Tired of living outdoors in a truck. I'm going to be going somewhere else outside the USA. Ps, you can qualify for free Healthcare in the USA if you have low income. I didn't know that myself for the longest time.
