I wish F-one wings had windows. I ride F-one boards and F-one foils but I will not buy wings without windows. It's crowded where I ride, we need windows to not hit each other. Please consider windows as an option.

Armstrong has it right , use stainless and ti screws and just keep the thing assembled . Just remove the foil for transporting . Its a proven system and works great ! . Have thought about wing nuts before on mast for testing setups but would take of after as they could drag in water .

I’d like to see a video about who the foil drive is for, is it just for guys that want to prone foil in the waves, or is it a good training tool for pump foiling. I wing foil but would like to try prone foiling, but paddling onto foil would destroy my shoulders, so foil drive looks good. But over 5k is a big investment for another toy. Larry

Hey Larry! The beauty of foil drive is it does have it's place in all disciplines and for all kind of people from learning to pros. I'd suggest having a look at our ambassador page and seeing how people are using it. Olivia Piana is a great example of someone using Foil Drive downwinding, in the surf and pump foiling, but also to teach people all of these skills as well. Sounds like Foil Drive would be a really great addition for you as someone wanting to get into prone foiling. A lot of people have learnt new disciplines or fast tracked that learning curve with the motor. You can start in a medium mast position for a little more time on motor the pop up. Skipping the need for arms really! We have a stack of dealers around as well who run demos and lessons on Foil Drive, could be a good way of trying it out. We've also got a stack of content on our youtube with a range of people and skill levels. Check out the Masterclass Playlist and Foil Drive TV as a starting point for some inspo! Caitlyn

While I understand the frustration with screws, they have a purpose. I run Armstrong stuff. It’s very easy to swap just a front wing or a tail. I can shim my tail. I can change each individual piece of my setup. It’s titanium and I have never once had a single issue with the screws. I have however seen a buddy break a screw inside the fuselage. It had to be extracted. I find it difficult to put so much trust in what seems to be a steel cable? Maybe some sort of synthetic line? And a plastic tab? I’m sure it will be fine. But I’m somewhat hesitant. Would love to try it out and test, but I wouldn’t toss money at it.

Seems cool but I’m already expecting some major issues as these release and people use them. Would love to try it out just to see. It’s pretty hard to beat Armstrong, in my opinion.

He answered my question in last 30 sec of 15 min video. Yes, it's foldable. Does the 2025 Mode pro with handles fold like the old ones without the track. In otherwords, is track foldable?

Hey Paul, yes there is no change to packing the 2025 Mode Pro wing in your bag. The Shiftlock system is totally foldable. The 2025 Mode Pro bag is also extendable should you use a boom on the track and not want to remove it after each session.

Pretty impressed how someone finally came up with a solid idea for a screwless system! Great and profound walkthrough by Fred.. especially the comparison between the new wings and the phantasm wings is worth gold! Too bad there’s no stab like the Phantasm v-stab though.
