I have no idea why anyone would want to listen to the radio and hear these guys, I hated when they came on the air, they stopped playing music. I was so ticked all they did was talk. I turned on my radio for music not listen to these guys that I could care less what they were talking about I did not want to know.

Notice at around the 3:53 minute mark, there is no southbound access onto I-575. If you wanted to go south, you had to go north on I-575 get off at Chastain turn around and go back south; either that or you had to turn around on Barrett and go back to to I-75. Even more, the exit ramp to get off I-575 at Barrett parkway coming north wasn't built until a few years after the southbound side ramp was made. If you were headed north on I-75 and you wanted to go to Barrett Parkway you had to stay on I-75 or turn around on Chastain I-575.

The only feeling I ever got close to this was watching Swift Cantrell being built. As a kid we'd pass by and my grandparents would tell me scary stories about a guy that lived in the woods that became Swift. Something about how he collected the shoes of people who wandered into his woods. And then they tore all the woods down and put a park there. They had a wooden skate ramp there that was my first ever experience with skating on anything other than the ground. And then even later they tore that down and started construction on the concrete park. I remember my eyes would be glued to that construction site every time we passed by it. Eventually it was finished and opening day was wild. There were so many people packed into that park that day. I'd argue it's one of the best skate parks in the state. Also the Target on 41 that used to be home to the flea market. I remember always looking for the radio tower to know when we were there.

The part that really got me was when he pointed the camera towards I -575 and said no buildings yet. That's definitely not true anymore. I just wish he would have rode up to the service station and shopping center that's still at the corner of Bells Ferry and Barrett. That's where my business is and it would have been neat to see how it looked then.

I was always a VAN HALE, fan and will be for the rest of my life. I've always loved EDDIE VAN HALEN, I will always remember him for the rest of my life until one day I'm old when I'm in my 90's and ready to die. I'll see him up in heaven, someday I die. I've always loved VAN HALEN, and always will for the rest of my life. I also have a VAN HALEN, t shirt, and flag hanging up in my room to represent him and his family members. I'm really sad that VAN HALEN, is not going to be together anymore and I mean very sad same with PANTERA, it sucks that both bands are not together anymore but I'm glad that they are up in heaven, with god, in a very safe place that is the most important thing that their all in a same place. Well god bless you man and I'm very glad that you got to drive by his house and let all of us see his house and where he lived. I just learned something new from you and him. God bless you man and I'm very glad you took all that time to see and show all of us where he lives. God bless you and stay safe out their with this pandemic, going on. Have a good night and show us more videos sometime more about what he did in life.

Whenever I look at that house on las lunas I think of all the House's I've lived in that look a lot like that house and I use to think Eddie and Alex had to come from a rich family in a rich neighborhood and must have gone to some expensive special school of performing arts because how could a regular person ever be that good, then I found out And thought, you gotta be kidding me, no way WTF.

Next to m&s liquors directly in front of Erics clocks and watches is the most important sights of all. Eddie and Alex carved the name van halen in the side walk as soon as David Lee roth suggested it as a band name. They tried in one spot and failed and got it carved in good in another spot. The band litterally started at that point.
@ArtHoward4 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I didn't know the significance of M&S Liquors back in 2014. I just noticed it sitting at the red light and thought it was very handy to their house. I just read of the significance a couple of days ago on Greg Renoff's Twitter.
