Hi Jose, we lucked out because the couple we went with were gold members, and because we all booked in the same cc we got the upgrade as well. Id for sure ask if there is something they can upgrade you to because I know that happens but honestly the old saying was true in our case. "Not what you know but who you know." Is it your first time to a Grand Sunset resort?

Absolutely LOVE the Bella.Costa. We go twice a year, just to see our dear friends we have made and enjoy the wonderful beach. Been to Cuba many times and you will not find better then Bella Costa! Great video, makea me even more excited to return in November!

Hi, thank you for sharing your video. I am planning to go there in a week. Booked already some excursions. I saw you took great videos in Cenote and also while swimming with turtles. Can you please advise me which phone case did you use for your phone water protective. My son would love to do snorkeling. Also by any chance did you see on that resort playgrounds for small kids? Thank you for your comment. They have a whole area dedicated for small children. They will love it. Toys, ice cream, small pools. Its fantastic. As for the phone case, Pelican 2 Pack Marine - IP68 Waterproof Phone Pouch are great. Ive tried a few and these are by fare the easiest to use. Have a blast!

Question, How far away was the beach from the resort and was the beach floor rocky? We have been to several resorts and want to try a new one. The only qualm my wife has had is the rocky beaches at several of the resorts, and want to try and avoid that if possible

so the resort is very big, you have to walk by 3 or 4 pool areas from the front to get the the beach. The path to the beach does open up very cool tho. The sand was good not fine but not rocky if that helps.

I really do not know. I believe you will enjoy it but also i think Cuba is known for the crystal beaches over most other places. The part of the vlog were we seen the turtles is about as clear as it gets unless u do the Cenote then its crystal but that also cuz its fresh water and not a beach :S

How was the ocean? We are going next March. It looked like it had a lot of seaweed ? Was it crystal blue waters like they claim?

It was pretty nice the first day was very calm and no sea weed but the rest if the days were a bit ruff and more sea weed but they do clean it in the mornings. Crystal blue…… pretty close. Im currently in Cuba and will drop the vlog for here in a few weeks and here is crystal clear.

The couple we went with were elite members. We all booked together. So when they got an upgrade at arrival we did as well. It was very lucky and huge blessing.

Food was good no complaints. The restaurants was great. Felt like vacation!

I went there last year. The food was amazing. They have many great a La carte restaurants, but I’d say the Thai restaurant was the best, especially their udon noodles. I was the only one to get that dish from my group and everyone was trying to eat mine lol.

Didn’t care for the buffet at all during lunch and dinner. And there burgers was horrible. Try hotel nyx in Cancun! Smaller but way more convenient and the food was way better
