How important are the pectoral fins for stabilization on the top hook model? I ordered one from Tackle Warehouse and one of the fins is bent outward. Would it be an issue to cut them off?

If it is not too extreme not importantant as far as action. However it you find that it does impede the action you can put them in hot water(not boiling hot) for about 5 mine and they should go back into shape.

@@SavageGearAmericas It curves upward from the body to the tip... almost like it's trying to wave to someone. I pushed a dent into the clamshell to hold it where it's supposed to be, I ran the sink as hot as it could get, held the fin under the water, then put it in the shell to cool. I'm going to let it sit for a few days and see what happens.
