We're thrilled with the growing global reach of this movie, now translated into 20 languages by PlacemakingX leaders around the world. The 19 minute movie tells the story of the roots of the placemaking movement which is now being led by 30 national and regional placemaking networks that have been incubated by PlacemakingX. The long-term goal of the placemaking movement is to help everyone become a "Place Man" or "Place Women!"

This is fantastic. Every person who makes decisions about cities needs to watch this. Thank you Fred Kent. You inspired me to create a community movement in downtown Newton, an area of Surrey, BC, a suburb of Vancouver. I called it ReNewton Nation. We have struggled getting politicians to recognize the value of people-centric places. Jane Jacobs is my hero. You are too. Great documentary. Congratulations and many thanks. I LOVE Bryant Park!
