How great? Marty Tripes should have eaten a piece of that sub sandwich on his fender before the gate dropped. :)

I have a great promotional vid for you, with the YZ250 2-stroke. The mags today do not know how to jet a carb, and they say the stock jetting is fine. The plug is so black and wet, with oil droplets from the stinger ruining the back of your jersey, smoke all the time and a messy exhaust, and they say it is fine. Well, I lowered my cylinder for more low end power, and the higher compression cleaned up the stock jetting a bit, (also added the FMF Gnarley pipe and V-force reeds though too). But I just moved the needle clip to the top notch (one from stock in the USA.), and it is still on the rich side so i just ordered the next more lean needle from the owners manual. The test would be great, showing the world how jetting your carb well will probably gain you up to 4hp and more power everywhere in the curve. Do a good job,---and maybe the magazines will hire you before they ride the drunk bike and tell us it is sober. :) Doug in Michigan.

I have more jetting to do, main more lean I am pretty sure (will tell with wide open runs and plug checks), and maybe the pilot jet. But it also has that "power jet" that I am not sure I really want. I suspect the jetting is on the rich side across the board for that bike, but I am not sure yet. There is one size smaller "power jet" available, and with good jetting, I see it as a bit of a flood. From past experience with normal 3 jet carbs that ran very well, I really don't see the need for the "power jet".

You start the recording at 10 grand? High gear, almost idle, then full throttle with 2-3 second "on" delay after hitting top rpm,---for the entire curve. I know my riding does not start at 10,000 rpm. :) Nice dyno room you have there. I am jealous. :)

Just bought a car tire changing stand ,was cheaper that the motorcycle one ,I just cut the car wheel bar what the wheel goes on and welded an axle from a motorcycle put vented car brake disc over the top to get over the weld ,put a none slip rubber mat over the top with a hole in the middle on top of the disc ,it works fine ,I destroyed one wheel trying to horse on the tire not knowing about the bead,as long as you keep the bead on the opposite side to irons in the middle of the wheel it goes on pretty easy ,if it’s Hard the bead ain’t in the middle ,a heat gun on low in the new tire to warm it up is definitely a must ,get the tire soft and easer to move,I used washing up liquid and water for lube ,worked well, once you get it pretty easy ,the bead in the middle is the key 😎

This was my first street legal motorcycle. It was great fun on the trails as you could ring its neck without ever having to worry about it going too fast. On the street I'd ride with a mate who had a ZZR250. He got so many laughs out of how slow the KLX was. We'd be in the overtaking lane passing a truck up hill and he'd fly by while I'd be lying on the tank of my KLX to squeeze hoping a headwind wouldn't arrive. Sometimes I'd have to bail out of an overtake when that happened.

The RM 250 2 Stroke has more power Suzuki they would sell more bikes if they focused on bikes for UPcoming kids into the sport 65 - 85 cc - 125 2 strokes, the 450 needs to be redesigned new engine with a extra 19 HP & the 250 needs the 450 power minimum 57 HP redesign the frame starter motor
