There is a discussion of whether it will be allowed long term, but yeah basically. There are other move cancels that are allowed in the run, like base game Radahn cancelling his arrows by running away then running back in. The one on the final boss just looks a lot goofier than other move cancels, even though it works basically the same.

@@Mitchriz I can't lie before reading your response I didn't think twice about the first radahn fight basically changing his first move even though your right it's pretty much the same thing. I guess for the base game it's been a thing for long enough I didn't think twice about it even though it's the same thing I questioned at the end. I guess it's mostly cuz its new to me that it stood out so much more.

I used the invulnerability frames from the second part of Bloodhound's Finesse. For some reason, that works, even though rolling doesn't.

@@Mitchriz i never knew i-frames on BHF could do that, can BHF also dodge other "undodgable attacks" like the lamenters curse?

@@tylxrjay4088 I don't think so, but I haven't tested it. In previous patches, BHF was not able to i-frame Nihil, but now it can with the release of SotE, so who knows what else it can do.

Dude, post hoarfrost stomp nerf but pre zips speedruns were very skillful. People actually had to perfectly no hit the boss. Most players don't have intricate knowledge about the internal poise break timer resets for bosses but speedrunners do. No only are they skillful but they know more about the games mechanics than anyone else other than hardcore pvpers

put these foolish ambitions to rest, tarnished

Gotta try and learn it for yourself to actually appreciate the work, time, calculations, etc that goes into it.
