Thank you, it was a really cool experience that I happened to be able to capture. Glad you enjoyed it.

He’s looking right at you! Go near those babies and it will hit the fan! They don’t have claws but they can nip pretty hard! Their real talent is being able to shoot poop right in your direction... ♥️

Its on Wolf Lake on the border of Illinois and Indiana, part of the lake is in one state and the rest in the other. There's a long road that goes way out into the water along the Illinois side of the lake and that's where I was riding my bike when I saw these swans. Actually if you look up the Nike Missle Site C-44 on Google Maps and scroll down from there you'll see it. Its really not an attraction, but there is a lot of wildlife there. Here is the link to the missle site on Google Maps: Nike Missile Site C-44 maps.app.goo.gl/zn5noZGeTfZtb1926

Very nice. I guess you don't see them often where you come from. Here in the Netherlands these swans are very common. It's a bit funny to see someone so excited about them. Still they are very beautiful. Great to see/hear how glad you are.

Part of the euphoria was from riding my bike, and it was a beautiful morning. I was also recording it for my daughter who loves birds so it was something I was excited to show here. It was the first swans I've seen in the wild, and they were so big! I've always liked birds though so living in Chicago as I did at the time there wasn't a lot of opportunities to see them in the wild.

Thanks! It was a really cool moment. I was out on my bicycle between Illinois and Indiana and no one was around except for these huge swans and their babies.

I could tell a number of species that does that though. Swans, birds of prey, wolves, beavers etc... some humans are but no guarantees. 🤔
