I think German cockroaches are harder to get rid of. I now integrate proactive measures for both bugs. I wish Jeff would discuss German cockroaches in his teaching.

Um, bs. Bed bugs are good climbers. How do you think they get oi you at night?? Lol they can climb walls and even walk on ceilings. Who put out this misinformation? It seems like a lot of people believe this. Also, they crawl fairly fast.

You are absolutely right about there being many more infestations than reported. Many people get embarassed thinking people will think they are messy or dirty when bedbugs care nothing about the cleanliness of a dwelling.

Into my elder yrs & never even knew what bedbugs looked like..was never an issue until now! We have a traveler for work, who probably brought them as hitchhikers.. freaky that it may be about 2 mos before u know u have them! So now, after all the help videos.. the battle continues & hope we get rid of them. Pest Control says they’ve seen bad cases..Good luck to all of us!

I have bb, but I can't find the source. It's driving me absolutely crazy especially because my mother doesn't care. She truly does not care that they are living somewhere in my room. It really hurts me and my building is not helping either by getting an exterminator. He was supposed to come to throw cross fire but he has not come. I'm already so stressed because of this. I don't think my life will ever be the same. This is so traumatic.

If you know for sure that bed bugs have invaded your home, get rid of them by learning about your enemy. You don't want to make mistakes that can make it harder to get rid of them, or be expensive, or be a health hazard. I got rid of the infestation in my bedroom easily and inexpensively after spending some tearful, stressful nights researching for answers online. This is how to do it yourself: GENTLY spread a VERY THIN, nearly invisible, dry coat of FOOD GRADE DIATOMACEOUS EARTH in a wide circle on your mattress. You can use a soft paint brush to avoid a dust cloud. Do not inhale the powder. Bed bugs will ignore a little dust and walk on it, but not visible piles. Put a Sansbug BUG TENT on top of the bed to sleep inside. Each night some of the hungry bed bugs will smell you on the bed, and come for a drink of your blood. After walking across the powder, THEY WON'T BE ABLE TO GET INSIDE THE TENT TO BITE YOU. Later the DE clinging to their bodies will dry out their exoskeletons. They will shrivel up and die. Bed bugs normally like to feed about every 5 days if they haven't been disturbed by insecticides or other repellents. Do not trap, seal, or remove them. Let them feel safe enough to leave their hiding places. All the bed bugs will eventually walk across the powder. THEY MUST HAVE FRESH BLOOD. YOU HAVE THEIR FOOD SUPPLY. You are the bait that lures the bed bugs to walk onto the bed. The diatomaceous earth on the bed will kill them all. You don't have to do any work, just sleep inside the tent at night without getting any bed bug bites! BED BUG EGGS can hatch several weeks after all the bed bugs have been killed. Don't let the NEW ONES survive to grow into breeding, biting adults. Continue to sleep inside the tent for at least A MONTH to clear the entire infestation. Treat the sofa and easy chairs if bed bugs are nesting in them too. Don't bring new bed bugs into your home or let guests with bed bugs visit. You might be able to apply a thin barricade of diatomaceous earth in all places where bed bugs can travel into your apartment. Bed bugs feed on people. Wherever there are people, there may be bed bugs. Take GARLIC capsules to keep them away from you. They will hate the way you smell, not hitch hike on your clothes, maybe leave your home, and go find someone else to bite.

You seem to have important things to say about killing bedbugs, but your cameraman or girl is incompetent, because: 1. Poor lighting, too dim. 2. Cannot keep camera steady, too much zooming in and out, makes me seasick.😨 3. Is that a laptop screen that is your “white board”? If so, it’s impossible to read info. 4. Camera angles are distracting. 5. Sorry, your KZbin was too unpleasant to watch.☹️☹️☹️ 6. I notice you made this KZbin 8 yrs ago. Have you remade it with a new camera crew? I hope so. I will look for it.

I have bumps/bites but don't know if it is bed bugs. I am thinking so as I woke up & had 10 bites on my hand. 2 on my leg, 2 on my arm, and a bunch on my back of small bumps. I just got back from traveling a week ago too, but so far have not been able to visually see one. There are 2 red spots on the wall near the air vent that's near my bed. I did find a dead oval brownish red bug downstairs on my sofa that resembles one maybe but it is too tiny (even with my phone camera zoomed in all the way) to tell for sure. I had bed bugs in a studio apartment back in 2016 & had a heat treatment for the unit that killed them (I stayed in the unit for another 6 months afterward). Keep everything in plastic containers & took them out finally in 2020. I hope it isn't a bed bug that followed me after all this time.
