This has a strong likelihood of failing, as the barrel wall is not thick enough to support the spout when it gets pulled on by a hose. Instead a bulkhead fitting should be attached to the barrel and the spout attached to that.

I found out recently mint will die if your soil is too good 😂 Mine keeps dying and showing signs of fertilizer burn, but I don't use any chemicals, nutrients, pesticides, or fertilizers. I use 100% organic home made compost soil. Everything grows in it. Except mint. 😂

There is no difference in the Molecules between Synthetic and organic Fertilizer so if used in the proper manner no they do not damage Microbes in the soil unless you use too much
