I think it would have been more meaningful if Data had been using the emotion chip when he made his sacrifice. Knowing he felt love for his friends, and wonder about the future, and fear for his own death. That would have made his sacrifice even more meaningful. Dying for your loved ones, even though you fear it is maybe the most human thing you could ever do.

Mr. Data: The shortest presidency in history was of Pedro Lascuráin's from Mexico. He resigned 45 minutes after taking office. Worf: Hold my prune juice!

CBS Paramount wasted a golden opportunity in the 90s. A Captain Sulu series set aboard Excelsior would have been epic.

The Klingon episodes were great Thr Worf storyline was fantastic and the episode where Riker serves on board is top 10.

energy wave hmm.. yep because if it been a gravity wave concentrated enough to cause visible effects to naked visual sensors in human visual spectrums far enough in advance to have time to be seen, the kind of ships capable to survive such a thing would be the kind that travle between galaxies with ease , and the tech for a civilization making such things ,well it would make the borg , and not the watered down late borg but the ''uhm guys how the fk do we even slow these guys down leet alone dent them!?'' ...look like helpless new born puppies in comparison

I also love that even though this is on the Enterprise, it is already shot like DS9, more close-ups and camera following characters rather than the static shots of TNG.

What I like best are the fast, rapid and hectic manoeuvres of the ships. The only thing that was more exciting for me were the two shell snails on my driveway that I was able to observe once. For hours, I had time, I was on holiday.

Janice Rand must've been happy when Hikaru Sulu had chosen her to be one of his crew on the Excelsior after he earned command of that ship, though she used to serve on the old Enterprise with him before and after that ship was redesigned and refitted.

To bad Sulu wasn't at the helm of the Poseidon. Of course that would have meant that movie wouldn't have been made.
