Incredible - it is up there with the group C Mercedes C9/C11 Sauber twin turbo for pure sound perfection. Stuff the current F1 & supercar leaf-blower sound of today Sad how modern technology has taken over and the driver is no longer shifting gears with a stick these days which takes a lot more skill I still prefer any day to watch the old school racing V8's any day than pretty boring modern day F1 chain-saw screamers

That's some of the nastiest raspiest exhaust I've ever heard on a big block. The big Charger 572 Hemi you showed had a deeper sound to it. This is higher-pitched and snarlier. Pure "get the hell out of my way" evil.

The best sounds from these things (for me anyway) are actually when they're far away. The driver jumps on it and you can hear the sound spread out and echo around every structure on the track...it sounds like the heavens are being torn open so God can look down and say, "that is a badass car."

The sheer brute violence of the exhaust note is pretty amazing.

Track cars are what its all about A proper built T/A car with as little as 400 500 hp ( still beasty ) is a marvel . All this + 1000hp straight line cars ; they’d just flip over on the first corner - useless .
